Haha! nice quote of 12th Street Rag in the middle! I still think the trio's recording of that rag is the best recording of it other than the composer's own recordings.

This tune is by Bob Carelton who also wrote the jazz classic Ja-Da.

Don't know about any recordings, but he did appear in the 1946 movie "Bringing Up Father" based on the comic strip about Jiggs & Maggie as a piano player, and again as a piano player in a 1947 film noir called "Fall Guy". There is a Youtube video of Struttin' Jim another of his earlier compositions.
