Because Pat Quinn isn't an idiot, he wouldn't have coached many years in the NHL if he was an idiot. He wouldn't have coached Canada to Olympic Gold in 2002, the Spengler Cup Finals in 2006, and this U-18 Gold in 2008. He's made 15 Playoff appearances in 19 seasons in the NHL. So OBVIOUSLY he's not an idiot and it's getting annoying at how many people talk shit about good people like Pat Quinn.
