Apparently you have no idea about this situation with Ohmar Khadr. We sent interpreters in to offer them an opportunity for surrender; they killed the 4 interpreters. We went in with guns blazing Mr.Khadr threw a hand grenade killing Sgt. Chris Speer. Sgt. Speer got death without parole that day; Mr Khadr will have his day in court as an unlawful (not uniformed) combatant after we get the info we want out of him. Until then he gets 3 square meals a day, and gets to pray 5 times a day.

This isn't a law enforcement program. We are in a war; there are no Miranda Rights, and there is no Habeas Corpus for Non-Citizen, illegal combatants. We can hold our prisoners of war as long as the conflict goes on. Tribunals are set up to deal with prisoners, and to hand out equitable punishment. Our Soldiers aren't required to read anyone their rights when they are captured in the time of war, that's ridiculous; Canadian Officials are allowed to see Mr. Khadr & Mr. Khadr isn't being abused.
