  • They weren't doing it right. They should have been shocking him, drugging him, and cutting his fingers off. Talking is worthless.

  • Wow, we really torture those guys bad!

  • terrorists have no human rights

careful now, i said terrorists, not suspects

  • KILL THE FUCKER.....

  • All I can say about this is that US is repeating what Hitler did. and its funny how we freed the Jews from Hitler yet now they are setting up these camps for Muslims which are very much like the concentration camps Its Ironic! What happened to the Amendments gave them a right of liberty and free trial. AND the Most Important thing is that these People aren't even guilty or criminals..They are just SUSPECTS! many of them can be possibly Innocent!!!

  • even if they was criminals..no human deserve this

  • Guantanamo is a massive human injustice. All people should have the right to be represented tried in a court of law before being incarcerated.

  • All religion is a form of brainwashing, but most religious people don't go to Afghanistan and start throwing grenades around.

He was old enough to try and kill our soldiers, he's old enough to put up with this.

Of course the white feather brigade will probably invent some paranoid conspiracy that's behind this interrogation.

  • fuck u pigs 9/11 was a gooooooooooooooood day

  • Was the examiner sent by the Canadian goverment? OO

  • See even the Canadian examiner said he was getting good medical care let him rot there forever

  • what if he didnt kill anyone ?

They are held for yearS without a trial what if he is found not guilty he can still be held. However who will be the judge in the case will it be bias ? This is no longer America Osama did beat us via Bush as his puppet. We have changed for the worse we are no longer the country we were proud of.

  • I always appreciate people posting without knowledge of anything in particular and then adding their own conspiracy theories like it's viable conjecture (no facts necessary for you kooky weirdos)Sgt. Christopher Speer died the day Mr. Khadr was captured. "Don't get caught being on the wrong side of this war and then complain about it"

  • Just because the SGT was killed does NOT mean this kid killed him. People are rounded up and put away by this new horror of a GVMT What is going on is a terror America has become a threat to the world and its own citizens

  • @SnowflakeMoray you never been the country you think you are dumbass. maybe only in some stupid hollywood movies

  • @recoveryprankcalls ,kike?

     gauntanamo-oh

    hey eh eh

    gautanamo-oh

    gauntanamoooooo-oh

    hey ey ey gauntanamo-oh-oh

  • @SnowflakeMoray I am truly ashamed to be American with what we have going on. I know all the radical republicans and teabaggers say that they are not under protection of the constitution but I do believe torture was put there for a reason. It is not a reliable source at all and we are supposed to be above such cruel and unusual punishment.

  • May you take his place soon.

  • May a special camp soon be set up for liberals

  • you disgusting fuck! he was 15 years old and he's been held for over 6 years without a trial!!! how fucking sick are you to assume he's guilty before even having been charged? this KID was indoctrinated by his parents, shot IN THE BACK by American soldiers, and then held ILLEGALLY AND IN BREACH OF THE GENEVA CONVENTION. Fuckers like you don't deserve your freedom.

  • As a Canadian, to see a fellow Canadian (guilty or not) being denied habeas corpus sickens me. And you fail to see that your foreign policy is the reason why you have this terrorist problem. You have economically starved these Arab states and these people resort to extreme ideals. Look at Nazi Germany in the 1920-1930s. If Germany was not "screwed" after WWI, Germans would not have resorted to Hitler's radical ideas. But I guess your chronic myopia is preventing you from seeing that.

  • Apparently you have no idea about this situation with Ohmar Khadr. We sent interpreters in to offer them an opportunity for surrender; they killed the 4 interpreters. We went in with guns blazing Mr.Khadr threw a hand grenade killing Sgt. Chris Speer. Sgt. Speer got death without parole that day; Mr Khadr will have his day in court as an unlawful (not uniformed) combatant after we get the info we want out of him. Until then he gets 3 square meals a day, and gets to pray 5 times a day.

  • What ever happened to the American notion of presumed innocense?? You are presuming he's guilty!! And you know, if you didn't go into some countries (Saudi Arabia and Iraq) "guns a-blaze", then maybe we wouldn't have had to deal with this. But, your sad excuse for a country and dumb-ass administration must "protect democracy". However, remember that every action has a reaction. And you are probably aware of what the reactions are(terrorist bombings, international condemnation, etc).

  • This isn't a law enforcement program. We are in a war; there are no Miranda Rights, and there is no Habeas Corpus for Non-Citizen, illegal combatants. We can hold our prisoners of war as long as the conflict goes on. Tribunals are set up to deal with prisoners, and to hand out equitable punishment. Our Soldiers aren't required to read anyone their rights when they are captured in the time of war, that's ridiculous; Canadian Officials are allowed to see Mr. Khadr & Mr. Khadr isn't being abused.

  • to say we went in guns blazing is also ridiculous. We didn't get Mr. Khadr in Iraq, (which under U.N. Resolution 1441 we lawfully went into Iraq to enforce international Laws) we got him in Afghanistan; which as far as I know no one in the world condemned except the "Peace Movement". (off subject) did you see that we removed 550 tons of "yellowcake" uranium out of Iraq last week? (see MSNBC news)

  • I never said that the international community was condemning the mission in Afghanistan. I am condemning the mistreatment of prisoners (which you have a proven record- Abu Ghraib). As you are well aware, the Iraq fiasco is a different story. They may have taken uranium, who cares. Iraqis wouldn't have done anything with it. But, you failed to include that your country seems to have exclusive rights (along with Britain) to remove something else out of Iraq, OIL!!! Isn't that ironic?!?!

  • I won't give you the validation you want; the Naked Human Pyramid in Abu-Ghraib isn't "torture", especially when our enemy saws heads off, chops heads off, and takes power drills to the heads of their prisoners for the camera. Iraq is paying the US and Britain with the oil money the Iraqi government controls for the costs of the liberation of their democratic country & the training of their people. No more Saddam rape rooms,no more killing soccer players for poor performance in the World Cup.

  • Regardless of what these people did, the treatment is why your reputation in the international community is completely stained. I didn't see this same treatment when Jeffrey Dahmer was being tried. And it seems Poland was left out. They regrettably went in and they didn't get any oil. There may not be rape rooms, but there will be instability in Iraq for a long time and that casuality count will only continue to grow. All for a barrel of oil. How shameful.

  • Is that why Sarkozy won his election in France?? (American Lover)Is that why Horste Koehler won his election in Germany?? (American Lover)In contrast is that why the Labor Party and Gordon Brown aren't so popular?? (Against everything the US is doing in the Middle East) Any bets Mr. Brown will lose the next election?? I think I can hold my head up high as an American; Most of the free world sees America as the good guys.

  • I challenge you to go to ANY western nation and ask them what they think of your foreign policy!! WHY DO YOU THINK YOUR FELLOW CITIZENS ARE WEARING CANADIAN FLAGS ON THEIR PACKS WHEN THEY GO ABROAD?!?! BECAUSE THEY WILL BE TREATED LIKE TRASH IF THEY DON'T!!! And these governmental changes in Europe are economically driven. France, Germany, and England have among the lowest approval rates of Bush and the Iraq war. So that excuse is completely flawed.

  • "The French people have called for change. I will carry out that change, because that's the mandate I have received from the French people."Sarkozy added that he wanted to tell his "American friends that they can rely on our friendship ... France will always be next to them when they need us."

  • "The new president of Germany, Horst Koehler, is a prominent member of the conservative and pro-American Christian Democrat Party / Christian Social Union, replacing a Social Democrat as head of state of the most important democracy in Europe"

  • And I haven't seen any troops from those countries. It's because their citizens are dead-set against it. And Sarkozy has a 33% approval rating. I'd say the French regret voting him into power, but I'll let the stats speak for themselves.

  • The situation going well in Iraq & Afghanistan; actually it's statistically safer to live in that "War Zone" than a lot of our cities here in America were the "Gang-violence" is horrible. More people die over here in "Car Accidents" monthly than what we lost in the entire Middle East since we've been there. So; it isn't necessary for our "Allies" troop support, just their political support. The war on terror is being held on many fronts, and everyone is doing their part in one way or another.

  • I'm not trying to change your mind; I just like to demonstrate how ignorant your argument is, conspiracy theories & all. It's easier to sit back & be critical of a country doing something about this evil in the world called "Islamofascism", than to get off ones ass & do something for yourself. The "Politically Correct" sees what our enemies do in all their atrocities & don't hold the terrorist accountable for anything because they fear.

  • America is an easy target because we're not going to kill you for speaking out against us, the terrorist will. Ignorance is the most expensive commodity in the world my friend, you and your conspiracy theories demonstrate that, because the bad guys win with your complacency. "All that is necessary for Evil to Triumph is good men to do nothing".

  • I'd say that all that is necessary for "evil" to triumph would be to justify their cause; which your country is doing (in Saudi Arabia). Kangaroo court is not justice. I am not being complacent, I'm being the better man. Going into a country blindly and with the wrong intelligence and causing the lives of over 80000 innocent civilians and 5000 US soldiers is not better than doing nothing. How is 5000 American lives more important than 80000 lives? Being proactive, not reactive is the answer.

  • I find your comparison laughable. 1st and foremost we don't target civilians; in contrast the enemy we are fighting sees no civilians in their war. Every man, woman, and child is considered an open target. You say our foreign policies suck (some do), but how many words were parsed before we entered the Iraqi theater? You have rage against the US, yet our Islamofascist friends target wedding parties, Malls, Restaurants, schools, playgrounds, roast people alive to recruit, etc etc.

  • ...and we (the US) have the bad foreign policy? You are an appeaser. If these (using the term loosely) IslamoPatriots have such a noble cause why can't they put their grievance to words? Why do they use violence against the innocent? Why do the Leaders convince their followers to blow themselves up in the name of Allah and not take the cause unto themselves? I'll tell you why; because appeasers like you will always dismiss the Islamofascist of their responsibility...

  • ..because the US deserves what they get for their bad foreign policy. You will take up their cause because you have the freedom to do so, because you let guilt and feelings run your life. Mostly because you can't break away from the pack and have an original idea you can call your own. Personally, I let the facts speak for themselves. Apparently the 550 tons of Uranium, the Killing of 180,000 Kurds, the rape rooms, the "Oil for Food" scandal, and the Sarin & Mustard gas warheads weren't enough.

  • And who's dangerous with uranium? Who's the only country to use a nuke on a populated area? The U.S. on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Continue believing what you want. I don't care. Your country's attitude to the world will only lead to further problems and further isolation. And remember, a terrorist will only kill themself when they have nothing to live for. You have taken away their desire to live and they turn to extremists. So blame yourself for this mess you're in and not us rational folk.

  • so your trying to say that..your the good who are protecting people from terrorists right?:) ok my friend..count how many "civilians" as you say you have kill to iraq and not only here..count all the terrorst actions against mommy USA..gkouh...who is the terrorst?

  • I agree Iraq and Afghan civilians suffer, and it is a shame as they are minding their own business. But as well as these civilians, US and UK civilians are dying from terrorist attacks, i.e 9/11 and 7/7 also

  • It's not enough that the previous administration signed HR 4655 for the regime change too. Bush Lied and People Died! You will be there to see to it the conspiracy theories, and your feelings will trump facts every time. You my friend are a Glittering Jewel of Colossal Ignorance.

  • For one thing, I have not based anything on conspiracy. It's based on fact (soldiers in Saudi Arabia, Arab economic isolation and Israeli favouritism, hatred of American foreign policy, and your "true aims" for going to Iraq). Even Al Greenspan admitted that you went to Iraq for oil, YOUR FORMER FED CHAIR! To deny that you're destroying the middle east and actually intensifying the terrorist cause is pure ignorance.

  • this is the problem my friend there are no terrorists... terrorists are a smart creation of your goverment for to convince US people to go to war... there is no threat for US, there is no country which can even touch US none has the power to do it, even the 11th attack was a trick of your government (CIA to be more specific)... even Ossama is working for US goverment is a special agent of your government... open your eyes Americans the only reason that thousand of peopleo are dying is money

  • Comment removed

  • ...and you are american... there is no possibility to be less retarted that I am... ;) but don't worry it's just life... besides the situations you are living right now is the best proof of my concept... america is being more and more poor, every day and every hour... and you know why? because the capitalism is mathematically certain that drives all the money to the top of the economic pyramid... so that is the phenomenon that is happening right now all over the world but mostly in US...

  • ...the rich people are being more rich and the poor more and more poor... for the US the final hit was the thousand of loans that american government approved ....the rich people right now have to reason to go on with investments cause they know nobody has money to buy so everything is totally frozen.... so what else can do except war :) ???!!! WAR FOR DIESEL WAR FOR DRUGS WAR FOR TERRITORY AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT THEY CAN EARN MONEY...

  • ...and how to convince the proud, poor american that the only thing ,that he is sure about is the existence of the GOD!!!!!:P, to go and fight for the money???? tell him that somebody who lives thousands of miles away is threating his family or create a very serious conflict (11th attack ) by using CIA-FBI and whatever... and the poor guy will believe that the moment he will save his country has come...

  • @abiratsis Yeah, even though every bit of scientific evidence disproves your 9/11 theory sure, why not. I'm not religious, nor do I believe that god is monitoring every person's activities. And you live in Greece, your country hasn't been shit for the past millenium. If capitalism is so evil, where are the successful communist countries? If Americans are so retarted then why don't you pull ahead as the world's economic and military power, oh yeah, because you're a dumb fucking bitch

  • @pennefather87 Lol "Retarted"....Lol

  • Did you seriously just misspell "retarded"? Seriously?

  • @abiratsis yeah im from the U.S. I have little doubt about what you are saying. I dont trust my goverment and wouldnt put anything past our GREEDY goverment. I just wish more of my people would wake up and see whats really happining!

  • @abiratsis money huh? where is this money going?

  • I travel to Scotland, France, Germany, Greece & Ireland. I never had any problems there. I ran into problems in Spain, & Italy. Nothing I couldn't handle

  • (off handed) I often find myself, and friends with 550 tons of Uranium lying around, who cares; you're a Kook! Saddam had no reactors (zero), what do you suppose Saddam needed with that much fissile material?!? Hint: he wasn't building playgrounds for Iraqi children.

  • Yellowcake is used in the preparation of fuel for nuclear reactors, where it is processed into purified UO2 for use in fuel rods for PHWR and other systems using unenriched uranium. It may also be enriched, by being converted to uranium hexafluoride gas (UF6), by isotope separation through gaseous diffusion or in a gas centrifuge to produce enriched uranium suitable for use in weapons and reactors.

  • Look up H.R. 4655 and notice what is said, and compare that with what Gen.Colin Powell submitted to the U.N. and what Bush said to Congress as Justification to go to war. What Administration passed this bill; you'll have a lot more people to add to the "They Lied & People Died" list. Google "Iraqi Liberation Act". I call it bad intelligence, not a lie. Regardless, Saddam won't be trying to assassinate any more Ex-presidents, or fund suicide bombers families with $25,000.00.

  • They don't need him to do it. You're destroying the land yourselves. And assassination attempts?!?! The only 1 he attempted was against a former Iraqi prime minister and Hussein was BACKED BY THE U.S.!! And you obviously don't know Islamic sect dynamics. Hussein was Sunni and extremists are a sect of Shi'ites (such as bin Laden). These two groups despise each other over there. So, why would he support a group that he adamently opposed???

  • Saddam tried to Assassinate Bush 41 when he was going to visit Kuwait April 14th-16th 1993 (see H.R. 4655). I do know the dynamics; yes the two groups despise each other, but they (the extremists) have a common enemy (the U.S.). Are you denying we are killing Al-Qaeda in Iraq?? Ever heard of Abu Ayyub al Masri? Don't you wonder why the media isn't covering Iraq; didn't you hear about the likely hood of massive troop reduction in September?

  • Maybe they have a reason to despise you. Would you like a foreign army in your country and mistreating POWs? I didn't think so. Hatred isn't brought about by nothing. And don't give me the whole "we're infadels" bullshit. If that were the case, they would be bombing every non-Arab country. They hate you because you are on their holy land. And as long as you're there securing oil reserves in Saudi Arabia, these extremists will use that to justify their acts and you have noone else to blame

  • They are bombing every non-Arab country; this IS a World War. See the site,"Thereligionofpeace" Every terrorist attack since 9/11 has been posted there. Stats like injured/killed, country, date, and a brief description of the incident for your viewing pleasure; what do you think I'm some sort of punk?? Your wrong, concede.

  • Shoot, even Barack Obama took his "the surge didn't work" crap off his site; common man get with the times.

  • bastards America!

  • I guess this video should be played to those who think throwing a hand grenade at a US Soldier is a good idea. We are at war with an extremist idealism of radical Islam. I am not concerned why they hate us; I have accepted that they do. When Osama tells me that there are no civilians in his war against us, I believe him. Don't get caught being on the wrong side of this war and then complain about it.

  • (At Manitu0)

HOLY SHITI!!!!! You're the smartest person I've ever seen comment on one of these videos. It feels good to know that someone other that me has a little common sense.

  • "How do you like me now?" -quoting Toby Keith

  • So what's the "so called" controversy over this tape? His father was a blanking terrorist!

  • Not that I see any 'mistreatment' in this video, but even if I did, sometimes we need to do things that don't seem pleasant. We don't live in a perfect world, and we need to do unperfect things. He will reap great financial benefits as a result. So quit crying.

  • guantanamo is but an other alcatraz.

    what a shame

  • WHAT torture? WHAT mistreatment? There is no evidence of such in this video. There were far worse things shown in still photos of detainees chained up with sacks over their heads.

  • Granted, Gitmo is a stain on the U.S.'s national conscience, but this video does not demonstrate that. The kid looks fine physically, despite his blubbering (and lying about fake injuries). He points at purported injuries, but I don't see a thing. Showing this video just bolsters the Bush Administration's assertion that detainees are being treated humanely during interrogation.

  • and your feet are still at the end of your legs - LOL!

  • thunderflash82 you find this funny?

  • mounir1426

-Actually I find Omar and his terrorist family a farce. Unfortunately, their beliefs and actions aren't very funny at all.

-I'm voting for Harper in the next election just to see this guy stay in GITMO.

  • thunderflash82 sure. you still have to live with yourself though.

  • Everyday and I'm loving it.

  • It strikes many that you resemble the type of IGNORANT Canadian/American wannabe whose opinion is shaped by the beer soaked village idiot sitting next to you. It is our hope that you don't find yourself at the other end of the spectrum

  • Death to the infidels!!!!! AIYEEEEEEEE!!!!

  • hmm..., theprofit1138.

I think I got a couple of other replies from you regarding Romeo Dallaire and how great a General he was for ordering 10 of his soldiers to surrender to militiamen who then proceeded to brutally torture and execute them.

stay in the U.S. and stop interfering in Canadian matters!

  • Perhaps you should open your eyes and your mind Thunderflash82... looking at your age it must be assumed your youth may be to blame. The Profit1138 is Canadian born, with 10 years military service (retired) based at CFB Petawawa from 87-97. You do many Canadians a diservice when you write the things you do about someone you never met. But it's a free country, and you are entitled to your opinion; though ignorant as it may be.
