I got a new hamster about 3 months ago. when we got her she was cream but now she is turning ginger, shes called lola

ThatsSoTrue21 got my new hamster a few weeks ago and they told me the its one of the eastiest hamster to tam too...and its one of the nicest ones too..so i suggest a chiness drwaf hamster...i have too an they ocme to me and sit on my hand an havnt bittin any one yet..well i hope never..lol..so yeha thats the one i think you should get...and also if u wanna u could jsut look aorund at all the hamsters and see witch one u think is the cutest and the ne thats more fun n wont bit, like a chines one

i just got a new hamster to day :D

i named him Hershey after my favorite chocolate :D

i think he is addicted to his wheel :D he goes on it if u scare him by walking to fast in to the room :D bless him

my friend has a japanese dwarf hamster...he said that it could live for 4-6 years maxinum...and urs cute <3 ive got and russian dwarf hamster, and i watched it for 4 hours XDDD

My hamsters died a couple of days ago...I've been thinking about getting a new one, what kind of hamster would you prefer? (my old hammie was a syrian hamster)

@ThatsSoTrue21 I'm sorry about your hamster :( Well, it depends on what kinds of hamsters are available near you...but I think you should get a winter white dwarf hamster. They're small but have the nice personality of Syrian hamsters! If those aren't available (I don't think they're the most common :P), then you could get a robo hamster if you want to have a challenge in taming a hamster. They're SO adorable too, and the smallest breed! OR you could get another Syrian <3 or...

@legoblockman3 I guess that's the way it goes :\ You know, I've read, and I've found through personal experience, that the best way to feel better is to get a new one. You can't think of it as replacing your hammie, because it's not...after all, if you took care of your hamster well, wouldn't your hamster want you to give that love to another one? I think of all the hamster owners that buy a hamster and neglect it...it's sad :( Feel better! May your hammie RIP! <3

@Morphadyte how are syrian hamsters btw? I had a winter dwarf hamster so I kinda want to get a syrian hamster but I'm not sure if i should pick a dwarf again or a syrian :P

@muksuilija My hamster has never bitten me, or even tried to. Even when I was first petting him and picking him up. He was very friendly. It totally depends on the hamster, but Syrian hamsters are said to be more friendly.

Winter whites are apparently really friendly for a dwarf hamster, though :) What was yours like?

@Morphadyte My hamster's color was saphire and he was really nice xD he never bit me and he would also always let me take him out of the cage and stuff :) His brother was also living in the same cage and the never fighted :p His brother was a very shy hamster at first and he used to bite but he also got tamed so he was really nice too :) Maybe ill try syrian hamster next (:

@Morphadyte my neighbour got one and she gave me a leaflet telling me all about it we are having a good think about it because we were going to get a puppy this chrismas but now i love hamsters the petshop we might go to only sells syrian hamsters so if we do get one it will be a syrian hamster my neighbours one is a male called alvin spelled diffrent though they spell it alven so if i do get one i'll get a female so we can try and mate them!

@Morphadyte thanks now we are defeneltey getting a hamster i have enough money for the hamster because they are £9.00 they cage we are going to get is £39 its a cool cage with almost everything the wood shavings a wheel a bed for it to sleep in the only thing we really need to get is a ball and some toys and a toilet cleaning thing ;D

@paigeylemonhead He/she has been named! Finally! I named him/her on Friday/Saturday-ish. I noticed I was calling him 'Sleepy' a lot, because that's mostly what he does, night or day. His name is Sleepy now :D

@Morphadyte Haha your reply made me laugh. Daily videos can be a pain, sometimes the footage you get you don't like and you have take time to record more and then edit that, EDITING D: it's an annoyingly long process. 12 minutes of footage-> 1 maybe 2 minutes of useable footage! It also doesn't help when your subjects attack the camera :P

Lol that's creepy, I got a hamster on the 24th for a birthday present! Lol, mine's a teddybear hamster and I named her Cookie. She's kind of a cream colour with grey ears, so cute!
