@scubadevils When I was a teenager I used to listen to this very recording on repeat- which is track 5 from the 1997 repress of their album In Sides- and dream of finally moving out of my parents house! By 1999 I was listening to Orbital's newer album (Middle of Nowhere) and was out on my own. Also- by 1999 this track, in all it's brilliance, sounded a bit "old" and hackneyed to most other electronica aficionados I knew. I was the subject of many a derisive snicker that year for still being obs
this song changed my aspect on life and the world. I literally zoned out for a compleat 30min thinking about life and the world. I'm still the same but apreasheat life a lot more. iv never felt so amoshinal to a song before.
excuse me for the spelling I am too lazy to spell right.
Classic piece of electronic music. Easily a staple piece for any who would presume to know anything about anything. It has a special place in the hallowed halls of my memory. Good times. Woobear...RIP.
Please tag this up/ rename that it has the Belinda Carlisle "heaven on earth" " and Bon jovi "you give love a bad name" so it can be found as the very special version that is!!!

You're 100% right. Did that last year with Radiohead. I'd bought two tickets as a surprise for my girlfriend, she'd done the same as a surprise for me - and we still couldn't make it.
This is not the one from Glastonbury 2004 though - they added in a clip from "I believe in a thing called love" in the mash-up then. Fucking awesome, but I can't find it anywhere now.
Yeah this one is from Glastonbury - wasn't at this concert either but did get to see them in Dublin in 96 where they did the same mash-up. Amazing hearing it live when you weren't expecting it!
@Scubadevils Erm, isn't this one from the V96 festival in Chelmsford? As far as I can remember, they didn't include the mashup in the '94 live show. Might well be wrong though...
@djfirkins Its taken from the 'Live at Glastonbury' CD, this track is credited as being from the 1999 festival. Yeah doubt it was done in 94, from what I gathered when I heard it in 96 it was a pretty new thing, I could also be wrong too - memory hazy of that time!

Love it.. just wish I could cut out all the annoying whistling. Some is good, but not like your own little beat.

I had a chance to see Orbital once in Jacksonville in the early 2000s. I blew it, and therefore, I suck.

That's the worst feeling: missing a concert you know you should have been at. It haunts you forever.
