  • The longer video of this is amazing. It shows his face and you can see the entire spectrum of emotions as well as the fatigue he endures. To me this embodies what our military men and women endure, they simply do the things we can't or won't. My hats off to him and all of our soldiers.

  • FOUR HOURS?! That is a true feat. Dress uniforms are hot and unforgiving - what an amazing soldier.

  • he's actually standing at present arms

  • Those that can't do things like to mock those that can do things, It makes them feel better about them selves with out risking any efforts

  • @thepowersportschanne What do you mean exactly?

  • SSgt Chambers, you are a great American. Perhaps that is the best way to honor you.

  • Great Job Marine!!! Thank you for your service, Semper Fi!!

  • SSgt cole, wounded vet. thank you sir for everything that you have done, it would be an honor to see you stand, or greater to stand with you.

  • @yokey123

You have no idea how many people the terrorists have killed. I feel for the families of those that lost loved ones on 9/11 and the war that followed. If one our soldiers was caught in the act or reported by multiple people of doing an act of rape/crimes, they would be discharged immediately.

  • @Soulstealer354 - No they are not, they are charged, tried and if found guilty sentenced. Unlike David Hicks....

  • Wow dude.... 4 hours? I did 1 once.... felt like my arm was going to fall off, that or I was going to keel over. Anyway outstanding job. I wonder if he would let anyone stand with him. I'm sure there's more that would happily volunteer. Especially when you consider how Vietnam Vets were treated after spending years downrange or as a POW when they got back stateside. It's pathetic that people were like that. Should've been shot, but I digress. I think he should enlist some more volunteers.

  • @SIECKTWO id be more than happy to stand beside this man

  • Good bless the innocent families in Iraq terrorised and murdered on the basis of a PACK OF LIES by men who did not have the GUTS to stand up to a President who turned them into murderers. Like Nazi soldiers they never questioned their orders, but unlike the Nazis they will never see a court. But guilt NEVER goes away.

God bless you my friend, you have demonstrated here that good men have fought and died even for your freedom of expression and way of life. Saddam Hussen and his evil regime will be proud to have you join them in hell!

  • SEMPER FI SSgt chambers.....oorah devil dog!!

  • Thank you. Thank you so very mucy!

  • Proud!

  • As the wife of a Marine Veteran you like so many others do us all a great honor. Thank you for your service and everything that you do.

  • @jaws8817 I assume you know this man???

  • Way to go Sarge.. I am proud to say I am a Marine that fought in Nam... You are the man..

  • @jaws8817 ..And is that not precisely the point of the exersise? To gain attention from the people, who in turn are reminded to support our troops? Motives mean nothing. It's the end result that matters.

Personally I am very touched by this yourg mans tribute, as well as Rolling Thunder.

  • Ooh Rah Staff Sergeant! You truly bring meaning to Semper Fidelis!

  • to reejon1........Semper fi 1st Marines....welcome home brother....NamVet65-66

  • ...the 29 people who did not like this video can: 1. kiss my ass and 2. go back to fuckin Mexico or Iraq.......NamVet65-66

  • @jjlapsr1 God Bless you, thank you for your service, and welcome home. -An Unworthy, Grateful Citizen

  • To @jjlapsr1 Your vulgarity discloses your poor upbringing and own instability. You need to get some help my brother, you are on a public forum where even young people can be affected. ---Nam Vet 1968

  • @jtcol1966 I agree with your concern & sentiment. I can feel the hurt jjlapsr feels in the frustration of the downfall of our society under the current administration.-- Vet-- 560th MP Co. Pleiku 1972

  • @jjlapsr1 GOD bless you sir. and thank you

  • @reejon1 I wish you hadn't removed your second comment.

My father served in The US Air Force and was also in VietNam. Thank you, Sir, for your service.

  • @hahtsauce SSgt stands for Staff SARGEANT, and when I was on my flight back home to Memphis from DC SSgt Chambers was on the same flight. When he was addressed as "Sarge" by a fellow Marine (a gentleman who'd served in WWII) he answered to it with pride.

  • @msjules022165 Spell Staff SERGEANT right before pointing out someone elses flaws.

  • @kikiJanuie Look here, we have a perfectionist in our midst! If you think that a mispelled word or typographicl error compares in any manner to the fine soldiers effort to salute his comrade in arms, you need your head examined! In addition, unless I am missing it here, I see no where herein any effort by msjules to point out any persons flaws. You seem to thrive on doing so! Where did you face the enemy at, in your dictionary?

Well hahtsauce I am getting older and the mind and eyes are not what they used too be but I served in nam with the !st Marines proably before you were born :-) When I was in the Corps a Marine did not put down a fellow Marine they helped them I guess things have changed? Sorry for the mistake

  • @reejon1 Thank you for your service. My Dad was a 1st Marine in Vietnam and Korea. I have no greater respect for men whom served and the brave men whom are serving, so I do not have too, as my dad told me. Thank you from the son of Gunny Lange. Semper FI and my god bless the MARINE Corp.

  • @hahtsauce No Sarg in the Marines????.. What planet did you come from????

  • God bless him...that takes some amazing strength and determination to hold that position for any length of time. This Marine is spectacular.

  • Vet 67 to 68 I am choked up with nothing but PRIDE!
