  • Nice looking car. Don't worry about the idots making negative remarks, they are purely jealous and don't even have 1p to their names. At least you have a nice replica and are enjoying it, what have they got? nothing just dreams. Best of luck, no doubt you to encounter these idots every week. From a fellow replica owner woodsport V6, F355.

  • Looks and sounds good!

  • id love a nice 355 replica with a supra 2JZ gte engine in it.....i think that would be even better than the stock 355 motor.....so much more potential

  • Sounds and looks like a real...so...it's not fabolous! Mr2 looks nicer than a Ferrari...and usualy 3Vz sounds better than this...anyway such a nice car well transformed.

  • i like the exhaust note, FWIW. how do they do it?

  • hows the performance

  • The people calling it fake an tacky are only saying that because it says replica in the title. I bet that if it didn't then 99% of people would think its the real deal.

  • @Cooper122333

    Very true.

  • russianpimp & greenrolaids - if you use your eyes you will see that this is because the engine lid & boot is now a one-piece and that it is not shut. the joys of a mid-engine car...you can leave it open for easy access.

    respect..great conversion

  • fuck thats so tacky. you can see how the boot doesnt line up with the quarter panel and the rear bumper doesnt sit evenly LOL. thats it a nice sound though, sounds like small v8 but actually v6.. nice

  • this car sounds like the real deal, and doesnt look like replica, is this a woodsport kit or one of those extreme-sportscars replica's and just redone the exhaust at woodsport? leme kno please :)

  • It's a Woodsport V6 engine conversion - but the kit is nothing to do with Woodsport

  • then wheres the kit from? mr2 kits or extremesportscars??

  • No idea sorry. I'm just a Woodsport customer - nothing to do with them :)

It's not my car either, sorry I can't help.

  • @fastmr2uk that is a horrible enzo replica

it looks nothing like a enzo

  • @redghost105 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA i hope that was a joke..

  • @TheTwoStrokePower ya it was a joke

  • @redghost105 It's not supposed to be an Enzo replica...but a general Ferrari look replica

  • @Ebbsilen dude

it was supposed to be a sarcastic joke...i know its supposed to be modeled after the ferrari 355

  • anyone know what exhaust their running? Is this the 1MZ-FE or the 3VZ-FE?

  • yeah but benefits with the replicas is that less fuel bills and less on servicing costs, on 355 they have ot be serviced everyt 6-9month or 12k miles, so thats a pain in the arse

  • one of the better looking replicas ive seen

  • the rear trunk lid = fail.

ITs way the fuck out of alignment.

  • the rear lid aint closed, its just resting down. i work next to their workshop and wanderd over to have a look at the car.

  • Grow up . Dumb ass and im sure you have a crap mercedes . You sound like a douche

  • co9ol car...i wouldnt put ferrari badges on it tho

  • this car looks and sounds awesome! it doesnt even look like a replica!!

  • It's clearly an sw20.

The public will be fooled tho.

Not sure where I stand on the whole mr2 ferrari conversion thing. THe sw20 is a good looking car and becoming rarer and therefore more desirable as time goes on.

The 355 is an epic car but without the sound it's like a low quality mp3 of a great track.

The question is - is it worth sacrificing a decent -good sw20 to make a less than convincing 355.

    With a v6 conversion - maybe.

Turbo can do performance but won't sound right.

    Tuff-call

  • tbh, when you've actually spent all the money making a replica, you could probably stretch out and buy a second hand 355 on auto trader or something. I think you can get something like that for quite cheap now,

  • Shut up Pu**SSY... car looks great.... sounds better than most other replicas too.

  • looks brilliant...doesnt sound like real 355 but still sounds decent...i just dont like the idea of fibre glass... i would feel like i am driving in plastic car....why dont they make a metal replacement? aluminum maybe ?

  • my dad had a vette..that thing was surprisingly sturdy..besides they make cigarette boats out of glass and they take far more abuse than any car would in its lfietime

  • look at the gap between ur moms legs :O smells like warm garbage!

  • hello

I just wanted to say that this replica looks incredible.

Aestetically fantastic and the sound too. really really nice.

How much did it cost totally?

    Did you did that yourself?

  • that's an old mr2 right? the roof is from the old mr2

  • what engine/exhaust is this? sounds pretty good (not like a ferrari but still good)

  • Sounsd like an MR2, nothing specail, certainly not a well tuned one. I had an 86 and LOVED it, but it sounds nothing like an italian sports car...

  • Funny that it sounds like an MR2 considering it hasn't got an MR2 engine in it! The V6 is from a Camry.

  • what kinda exhaust are u running?

  • I whouldn`t waste mr2 for this replica, you have to be blind not to spot a difrence.

  • This is about the V6 conversion - not the kit.

  • Its the roof that gets me.

  • @michalmr2 just so you know you can get a mr2 got 1000 pounds so i wouldnt call it a "waste"

  • @michalmr2 the replica molds are made from authentic ferrari panels

  • @zeppelin2684

you`re tellim me that this "car" has same wheel base as 355. same front and rear overhang same wight and lenght? ??? you whould have to streech mr2 sw20 to get it. detail might be the same but proportins made this car difrient

  • @michalmr2 uh you said "you have to be blind not to spot the differences" remember......obviously they'd stretch the frame to the exact specs as the ferrari... u said ud have to be blind not to spot the differences....what the fuck does the frame have to do with anything if its been modded to size and u cant even see it???

  • @zeppelin2684

haha youre so stupid:) haha got no clue about car design

  • all you're missing is a big shiny ferrari logo on the back

  • top is a bit too short

  • one of the best sounding mr2 based conversions anyway

  • youre sooooo wrong - in mr2 you can get engine options from 130 to 250 bhp and tune it up to 300 and mr2 is not some shity us car which dosent handele but fiero looks good but that about it

  • how would it be obvious? the fiero is a better platform, the mr2 has t tops alot of the time. fiero parts cars are all over.

  • If you are going to build a fake - or replica - if you do it with an mr2, at least you can have some pride. There is no hope for that if you say "yeah, I built it out of a pontiac fiero" - The mr2 actually has ferrari performance and respect already.

You also won't hear fiero owners getting pissed off but you will see mr2 owners do that. They don't like seeing a perfect working mr2 get raped to look like another, less performing car. ;)

  • my fiero replica has a northstar engine and cost $35,000...i can tell you know nothing about cars by even comparing a junk mr2 to a ferrari....haha my camaro will beat the shit out of an mr2...so what it is you drive again worth more than my fiero replica? that has no respect as you say...jucking douch bag

  • how much to do up an mr2

  • Eh? A V6 on an MR2 frame?

What's the advatage of that over starting with a Fiero?

  • How much for the conversion?

And roughly what are the specs of the mr2 afterwards?

  • some nice mods

  • as we need to do to the documentation for this machine?

  • wish they could do an SLR 722 or a corvette Z06 ora camaro consept!!

  • That's rediculous. If it weren't for the off engine note, I'd swear that was the real thing. I'd buy it!

  • it does sound good, but it's a shame it'll never sound like a real 355...

  • lol this is what i wanna do with my mr2! i have a dead 1993 na LOL and i wannta put my dads Camry Solara engine in it, then fit it with one of those Ferrari kits =D

  • He never made the kit mate - he just did the engine for his customer.

Not sure who did the kit actually.

  • yeah, I understand. its just a shame he didn't spend the money to make the kit complete. its still obvious its an MR2. still its one of the best (read: closest) sounding replica 355 I've heard, and a lot closer than the typical Fiero 3800 or GM V8.

  • Agreed. Woodsport are the best at the Toyota V6 conversions, in the world!

  • It's not my car mate - but if you check out the user PaulWoodsport on here, you'll see examples of his work...

  • where do you get this kit??

  • thank god sombody changed the engine in a ferrari replica, at last, one that sounds more like the real thing, and shifts!

  • by the way, what v6 and box did you use and wich exhaust system did you use? it has the hollow sound of a ferrari!

  • It's the 3VZ-FE engine which is a Toyota 3ltr V6. It mounts up to the stock MR2 gearbox. The exhaust is made by Hayward and Scott. It does sound superb.

  • how much is the conversion Inc exhaust

  • when it accelorates it sounds like the real thing, but when it is just ticking over, it sounds a bit TOO cackly

  • they are so much easier to build then a lamborghini replica.
