  • That brush is great for removing paint off metal

  • Hi I have a question for you I bought a Grinder and a 1/16 in wheel but having a hard time to pop it on without hitting the guard I turn over the back plate to it's highest point but I'm having a problem with the plate staying in a tight position it comes loose while I turn it on I did notice that the plate is flat and my other 1/4in plate has a high wise so there's a gap between the plate & guard do you have any suggestions? on why.

  • is this Brian From Briansmobill1 ????

  • I -REALLY- recommend wearing a respirator or some other kind of lung protection when heavily disturbing the surface of metal (or generally any material for that matter).

  • the first wheel you took off your grinder.....what is that kind called ? Because i am gonna try to get a dewalt grinder and i just want to know what its called....And would it work with a small dewalt angle grinder or would i have to take off the guard ?

  • @805Bink He mentioned the name in the video towards the end, it's called a flap disc. Small is far too vague, both flap discs and angle grinders come in different sizes. You might have a 4 1/2 inch angle grinder, to which you would mate the disc size.

  • En contre mi respuesta, i found my answer

  • here with such stupid ass then his eyes fly.

ОДЕВАЙ ОЧКИ!!! ПРИКРУТИ ОБРАТНО ЗАЩИТНЫЙ КОЖУХ !!!

    WEAR GLASSES! Screw BACK COVER!

ОДЕВАЙ ОЧКИ!!! ПРИКРУТИ ОБРАТНО ЗАЩИТНЫЙ КОЖУХ !!!

  • Wear Proper Protective Clothing !!! these little metal wires fly off and can go through your normal clothes.

  • Do you think this would work for removing finishes from firearms without scratching or damaging the metal?

  • Make sure you don't inhale too much of that rust dude!, nice video :)

  • @Chevelletastic I'll bet you could count every nerve fiber there.

  • Hi, I have a couple of great cast iron Victorian garden bench ends with intricate fretwork - covered in old paint and rust; any advice gratefully received on heads to use [ cup brush and or another?) and hopefully avoid skipping when it hits the open bits. thanks a lot; videos great help!

  • @sheilamaclean If you cant get all of it with the bits at your hardware store, try picking up some aircraft paint stripper. Stuff works perfectly.

  • Let me add some hard learned safety suggestions. They don't tell you this anywhere.

    - "Pops up" = cold cocked like a prize fighter. If it wraps around the end of something it can do a "discus thrower" thing and accelerate at you MUCH faster than you think. (Ask my ER doc. No joke.)

    - Throws bristles. One went 3/4" into my stomach through my shirt (don't even turn it ON without full eye protection. Glasses DON'T work!)

    - Gloves - oh yeah.

    - Heavy clothing (apron best).

  • Wow guy great video I have a angle grinder never thought of using this before

  • GUD FCCN VID, ILOVE IT. BUT QUICK QUESTION. CAN I BUY 1 OF THM WIRE BRUSHES FOR MY DRILL?

  • 99p i spent one 2 and they last months !

  • Superb video - please keep producing them

  • iv got a 1995 chevy 1500. it was a new york truck and its got rust on it but its just surface rust. any ideas on how to make my truck under carrage and engine area look bette?

  • lol 90% + 90% doesn't equal 100%

    great video though!

  • how long does the brush last?

  • That's bs since you have a grinder for northern tool if you go in you will find that you can get one for less then five dollars and at harbor freight you can get the for under a dollar

  • Thanks for the complement!

1 should do the trick. They usually last quite awhile. The more pressure you apply, the faster it will were down. Let the rpms and the brush do most of the work.

Let me know how it goes.

  • very nice video. how long will the brush last for. i want to remove all paint and a small line of rust off the front of my snow plow and completely repaint it. do you think one brush will do it or should i pick up two???

  • thanx
