I climbed up here a few months ago and to anyone who's thinking of going up this on any but the driest, least windy days, I would suggest trying to use a 70m dry rope. I ended up jugging 4 pitches of rope because our rope(s) kept getting stuck while rappelling.
Its an awesome climb though...So long as you don't get your rope stuck as its starting to get dark and it begins to Really rain.
@devilaces Hey was that on August 26th I think I might of been in the party just ahead of you we got down just before it really started to rain. We had just finishing making supper when I noticed the your head lamps just getting off the climb was wondering what happened. That was a extremely windy day I used a 70m rope and it was great was able to link up a lot of pitches. Would of been nice to have two ropes for the rappel though.
Hmm... dont know why but your comment appeared in my in-box. Think I commented here months ago. If I recall I said something about the grading UK Moderate... Chinese Grade 2 - 3. but anyway an easy scramble and great for beginners and the older generation. If you wanna try something really exciting, try Conan The Librarian. North Stack, Anglesey, UK. About a UK E7 6C as I recall. Tough as hell for a small chinese girl though...
Fly into Calgary, head west 1 hour your at banff, keep headin west 45 minutes your at Lake louise, another 25 minutes west you are heading down the big hill towards Field. At the bottom of the hill on the right just after the bridge (still headin west) a well marked sign says Yoho, takakkow Falls 15 minutes later you hit the end of the road, If you had to Glass eyes you could still see the falls. Top of scree cone 100 meters left of falls is start of route.
Fun day out. Weird to see myself in a video from so many years ago.........

Really? I never noticed the signs being wrong. Why don't you correct your vid title.
Lagolop 2 years ago
Never in a million years, I am in the right. This is a injustice, why don't they change their signs.

I like these nice easy climbs. It's about a UK moderat or v-diff right?

you guys kill me with that rating system. That verbal discription is relative to the individual. Yeh sounds about right.
