  • funky!

  • ALL ROCK AND ROLL I LIKE IT

Elvis, JLL, Carl and a lot more ....

    rock on ....

  • Even Johnny did some Rock N Roll too.

  • Carl Perkins had a great picking style that I enjoyed; it was economical(for the time period he was in), but he stuck to the rhythm and could syncopate like few could. All that, and wail out those vocals, he was rare indeed! No wonder so many musicians followed his style and made their own path.

  • it's sad that there will probably never be something like the million dollar quartett or the class of '55 again.

that was real, damn good music, not that shit that's in the charts nowadays.

now the only big ones left are jerry lee lewis, little richard and chuck berry.

i was definitely born 60 years too late!

  • Johnny Cash Could Put This Guy To Shame, This Version Is No Were Near As Good As Johnny Cash

  • @danrtopp Yeah, but Carl is still one of the best musicians and the king of Rockabilly! Carl and Johnny were both on sun records at the same time and both friends

  • @danrtopp thats not the point of a cover version... music is no competition... why does nobody get that?

  • @blackhole990 It's the way of life

  • @danrtopp "Walk The Line" noobie!! You have no idea who Carl Perkins was do you? Idiot.

  • @purplestuff Fuck You

  • @danrtopp

Even Cash would bow before Perkins. Anyone who knows anything about music knows Perkins was the real king of Rock N Roll.

  • @subg88 The Real King Of Rock 'N' Roll Is Elvis Presley

  • @subg88 you don`t know anything about rock`n roll. Elvis was and is still The King.

  • 1968 Columbia album ................great !
