  • sam and albert should date. Get in there albert ;)

  • I agree, Gooo Sam! But I love this note book, I'm typing this on my white 901. I watched the whole of the 3 hour F1 Australian Grand Prix on the BBC iplayer earlier and my 901 played it with ease. It also plays DVDs over wifi network very well on battery :)

  • Notebooks suck But Sam Doesn't, Goooooooo Sam

  • nice... go sam go...

  • very good presenation.easy to operate.wonderful, easy applications are available.

Always science win in all areas of learning.

  • isn't it pronounced AH-SOOS?

  • Nope.

  • aye-sus

  • Only reason why I bought the Dell Mini 9 was because I wanted a netbook and needed a laptop for school. No start up cash, so payment plan was what sold it for me. Couple of months later I had the cash :/ . I prefer the specs for the Asus, but the cons annoyed me more than the price I paid for the mini 9 and lack of bells and whistles.

  • shes hot (not the netbook)

  • once again.. its a netbook..nobody gives a fuck anymore

  • i liek the man not the WOOOMAAN

  • lol 100% chance this douche is being watched by the feds

  • they have "reviewed" this netbook like 3 times already

  • They seem to be reviewing a lot of netbooks lately is what i think..

  • thats the smallest netbook you have ever seen? uh... 701? you lose credibility when you say stupid things like that

  • She said one of the smallest.

  • Sam Win

  • sam <3

  • agreed...she sounds really dumb.

  • Nice bra strap..but i dont think its gonna make anyone by this netbook.

  • albert has already done that one FFS!

  • They're replacing a lot of the reviews on TigerDirect that have Albert or Bauer in them with Sam because they think we're more likely to buy them.

  • Agreed on that

  • I like it, great review, Kudos to you Sam!

  • The EEE 901 is sooo old news. It came out like.... what? summer of '08?

  • I dont like ntebooks, they are useless.

Ok, they are small, but thats it.

Untill they can make some ok netbooks,

    I will never buy one.

  • amen bro

  • Amen

  • They're useless unless you have a 3G card, or if you have wireless at home.

  • He means the fact that they're so small doesn't change anything besides making them harder to use. I'd rather have a 13+ inch notebook with netbook specs then a netbook if they were both the same weight. Because that's what it's all about... Weight, not size!

  • Can't argue with that logic.

  • actually it's more about size . if you travel a lot , you'll realize that you'll more likely to run out of space before you reach wiehgt limit . a big clumsy notebook but light wont do it either . i would rather get a netbook than a laptop since they're perfect , mark my word , PERFECT for mobile computing . the smaller , more power efficient , the better . if i want power , shoulda gone for desktop.

  • "I'd rather have a 13+ inch notebook with netbook specs"

"if i want power , shoulda gone for desktop"

Yeaaah.. I said netbook specs.. so I don't know why you're talking about power. Traveling doesn't mean you put stuff in a bag and get on a plane. If you actually run around a lot during the day it's all about how much they weigh, meaning there's little reason not to opt for a full sized keyboard and possibly an optical drive if we could buy 13" notebooks that weigh 2.2lb.

  • well i'll be damned if you could actually find a laptop with atom processor and SSD with baterry that can last 6 hours for under 400$ . the bigger the screen , the more power it uses . people who actually looks for netbook look for portable , easy to use , and reliable . laptop uses HDD , which is slower and less reliable . laptop uses more power since they have bigger screen . almost none of the laptop on the market is lighter than netbook . therefore , what you're talking about is nonsence.

  • I was discussing the practicality small screen sizes on laptops were. Obviously there aren't any full sized laptops with 6 hour batteries you can get for under $400. Want to point me in the direction of a netbook that also meets 6 hours battery life for under $400? I'm pretty sure they also don't exist. Bigger screens use more power, but bigger laptops use larger batteries. Sony, Toshiba and Apple have proved large laptops can be light. The 10 inch Aspire One weighs as much as a MacBook Air.

  • "They're useless unless you have a 3G card, or if you have wireless at home"

Errrm. You do see that ethernet port don't you?

  • Yes, but the point owning one is to take them anywhere.

  • you have a shit cam!!! get a new one

  • awesome i want one!

  • Hey guys!! Sam wants me bad

  • I wish I worked at computerTV

  • oh my god i want to hit that

  • the netbook or sam? LOL
