Whites are portrayed to all hate blacks.
This causes blacks to be more on guard and angry towards whites.
That means that when a white does anything that could possibly seem to be done against a black, the black can respond with unwarranted violence and it is seen as self defense.
Same thing happens with dating abuse, just change "white" to man, and "black" to woman
