@MegaPrinnyDood it's not an event, become champion, receive the national pokedex, and then just go to the house of the sailor in canalave city, the boy inside needs something, the sailor will then take you to the island where cresselia resides. after confronting it, it leaves and becomes a roaming pokemon, just pick up whatever it leaves behind to give to the boy.

This was so easy in diamond for me since I used false swipe to get it down to 1 hp and I burned it in the process as well (although it never took damage since I let it escape). After that I just threw a quick ball the next time it showed up and I caught it on the first try.

-I couldnt put it to sleep cause it kept using Uproar

-I wasted all my Ultra Balls and Dusk balls, even my Poke balls, great balls and heal balls!

-Azelf eventually KOd all my Pokemon

-I dropped all my money in panic and now I can't buy a thing!
