whats up with everyone saying fuck gibson? i have a gibson flying v and it is the fuckin sweetest guitar ive ever played besides gibson owns epiphone its the same company i could have bought an epiphone but i wanted a usa guitar as for the pickups on this guitar the neck pickup is not pointless i have this same setup except i have a 89 thats splittable in the bridge in my mockingbird and the HA has the best tone in a single coil i have ever heard its quiet as hell even with crazy distortion

To be honest you can tune any sized guitar to any tuning, just set it up right and get decent gauge strings (although some guitars will handle some tunings better, since most people prefer to not use ridiculously thick strings just to stop them feeling like rubber bands)

@BFMVguitarist1 yep for sure, baritone scale guitars are pretty much an essential if you want to go low, your lower tunings stay tight and clear and the strings dont flop like a mother bitch, this guitar can go as low as B and props even more and judging from the new machine head track this guitar (if it was used) is doing pretty damn well so C wont be a problem, hope that helped!
