  • Great video, thanks. Question did you have to put epoxy after removing frets

    Thanx

  • @tenellifranco no, the shivs are held with just wood glue

  • @graycrom thanx

  • For that small price the sound looks outstanding, especially i liked the cound captured by microfone. And, ofcourse, defretting is a good option.

  • nice playing and nice conversion with the frets. do you think this bass would be hear able along side an acoustic guitar un-amplified?

  • @MrCensorship yes absolutely

  • thanks for reply. are your mikes (it comes shipped with) makin' a buzz even when not playing on the bass? (not saying they do so in the (this) video.. mine does.

  • @halvskegge mike noise is probably due to your settings on the amp or mixer, (whichever you are using.) other possibilities include the cable, other electrical stuff interfering or most likely the input into your bass.

  • im looking for something i can gig with about the £300 mark love ur vids thanks for any adivce

  • @djscratchycutz the Crafter acoustic basses are priced around that much, i've never played one.

  • cheers

  • awesome video

  • i am a left handed bass player been playing for 8years just decided i want to get and acoustic left handed bass is there any models you know that you can get finding it vert hard to find one

  • @djscratchycutz depends on your budget, but the harley bentons are low end and do left hand.

  • which strings used? peace/

  • @halvskegge Can't remember, i think they are fender flat wrap.

  • what are you playing it sounds very enjoyable and nice id love to learn how to play it

  • @alexdaplayar110 some nonsense on a minor blues scale in A

  • Nice find!!

  • does Harley Benton have an official web site...send me the link?

  • @guitarguy141 thomann(dot)de

  • nice.. is it a left-handed?....did they sell a lefty version

  • "which i think is quite odd" :-D nice

  • If you put a strap button on it, you might consider placing it on the side of the neck heel as opposed to the back (where you pointed out in the video.) It will counter the top-heaviness of the bass. Also, if you place it well around the lower side of the neck heel, it will make the guitar lean back into your body... instead of falling away from you.

Kudos on being the first Youtuber I've hear correctly pronounce D'Addario!!!

  • check out our channel for seeing harley-benton bass in a two man combo

  • Love your new "toy" :) Very good sounding bass. Fretless are great.

  • turned out quite nice didn't it? And you are so right about lefties. I've been toying with the idea of starting to make em!

  • want

  • Got!

  • good job
