I'm a "Tad" suspicious of the drivers true intent. Looking at the impact, he caught a good foot of the trailer into the overhead area. If he'd REALLY been trying to avoid it, he'd have gone further out. I'm suspecting he had "Buyers Remorse" on the trailer and so he "Accidently" causes this "Accident" is supposedly embaressed and then the trailer is paid off and he's off the contract.

Those columns should have been steel or at least a few pieces of rebar in the concrete, they blame the hurricanes for the damage when it was shoddy construction. I would blame the contractor, and the building dept for not doing their job. And we gotta pay for it.
