I've never been here but I came across this looking up the electric forest festival. As an artist(photographer) I have to tell you this video is so unbelievably beautiful and i hope that it shows people that "raves" or " music festivals" shouldn't have the bad reputations that they do have. Even if it changed just one persons opinion i think that would be awesome. I go to a lot of music festivals and ive see some "bad" stuff but ive also seen the good and thats what matters = )

PLUR story: Was at Hard haunted last year, my group saw a guy by himself. It was his first rave, he wasnt from LA, just visiting friends, but had lost them. He was just starting to roll and not sure what to do. I gave him his first piece of kandi and told him about my first roll. Then my friends came over and shared. Well, EDC isnt a rave >.> its a massive. Raves are >>>underground<<<LOWKEY and arnt broadcasted for every man woman an child to see. I went to EDC bak in '09 an it was ok(was to crouded) but thats the problem with all massives, but i digress.

my point: even though i dont care for massives, and even tho EDC is not a rave, this is still very beautiful to watch. and it captures the joy an life of the people there at the event, which is what an actual rave is all about.

If you notice I did not to use any crowd shots and chose to focus on individuals that stood out to me.. Advice on learning to make videos like this? non in particular.. Just do what you know best.. I did a lot of color correcting on the film so it could be that.. the camera gives it depth of field (blurry background with the subject in focus) so that may be what you're refer to as well.. Did you like the film?
