i was wondering what you feed them and where can i get food. can i make it myself?

we buy the food at the farm store. They have a special kind for when the chickens are babies. When they grow up, you can buy layer mash, cracked corn, etc. We have always bought the food. You can give bread crumbs and other edibles as treats.
