Monty Oum sucks D: just dragging on the Dead Fantasy stuff to the point of "meh" and he likes FFVIII over everything else, the worst of all FFs, at least FFX-2 had better gameplay :\ and FFXII had less annoying characters lolz.
Totally a personal preference right there. There's nothing wrong with FFVIII. FFX-2's gameplay was way worse than it first of all and FFXII had no character development. =P

Never said I liked FFX-2, I hate it. I hate the characters (butchered Yuna), music, and story, but from Gameplay ALONE it's good. FFVIII's gameplay was bad, junctioning sucked (made using magic stupid cause it weakened you), leveling was pointless (in an RPG? bad idea), I hate card games, drawing was boring and lame. Watch Spoony's review, it sums up the same thoughts on FFVIII's fail as mine.

see, my comment on him liking FFVIII wasn't in relation to Dead Fantasy, just my example of how he's fail lol. Granted I should have made that more clear and separated it. I liked Dead Fantasy at first but after watching it, he really doesn't get some characters right in terms of their original style, then again, that's prolly not something many realize considering the remakes (aka Tifa from FF7 is different from TIfa in FFVII: AC lol.. fail movie there too, butchered Cloud's character)
Well, at first they were just model rips and slightly modified from in game 3D models. Then he created his own, which couldn't have been too easy. I'd say the changes were for the best. Can't really stand the original models after all these years, ESPECIALLY Tifa's cloths, they are just so outdated. Rinoa was a HUGE improvement, I couldnt' care less about that KH girl. Rikku was perfect, Yuna was always the same model I think. Cloud, he'll always change his AC model would look out of place in DF
