@Degrassifanx94 that's the point. Everyone around them is raving and having an awesome time partying while Sid's world is falling apart around him. Notice how no one gives a shit about two guys hugging and crying- it's similar to Sid because he feels like no one gives a fuck about him really.

@Degrassifanx94 the lyrics do totally fit. as he enters he is still conceiling his feelings: "Hi, scars, in you, son you shrug it off except that you don't" and afterwards as he breaks down: "drop it, it's dead we drop it and took the body home sad eyes" besides there's a lot of emotion in her screaming voice, a lot of grief and despair.

Amazing scene. So intense and sad, a great moment between Tony and Sid. When Sid almost collapsed Tony had to be the strong one and be there for Sid. Skins is the best :D

I love how they didn't play it out like a cliche: a quiet stillness and barely whispered words. That has it's place, but I think their island of sorrow and immobility amid a throng of motion made it far more emotional.

I have two favorite scenes in Skins, this one, and the ending of JJ's episode in series 3. This is by far the best scene in skins. The music as well as the performances by Mike Baily and Nicholas Hoult.

Been hooked on Skins since seeing an episode on BBC America a while back. Love it and can't wait for series 4.
