  • Wow! I'm dealing with WLD for the first time and found this clip very uplifting. Thank God for people like you. :)

  • I'm amazed by how fast her hoof wall grew back!! What's that supplement you said you've been using? Having a bit of a struggle with the white line disease here also..

  • I've always used ACCEL. It is complete and even has proibiotics. It's mid-range in price but works as well or better than many very expensive hoof supplements.

  • People will never stop cruelty to animals until they can learn to love and respect each other. Unfortunately, that will not happen in my lifetime but perhaps in my grandchildren's lifetimes. I can only pray. Annie went to a nice lady and is at a local barn up here where we live! She went to her new home on April 4th, one month to the day after my dear Dad died on March 4As one lifetime ended, so another began anew. My father would have been very proud.

  • It makes me sick people try and waste away a precious life like annies!! I want to bring that guy into the corral and let annie have a few wacks at this pinata! which would be his head! URGH thats just so mean! But you've done wonderful with her. I hope she has a forever home.

  • Great work!!! I"m dealing a horse with white line now. I hope I can get him back to normal.

  • Well, I can tell you the things that I think will turn a horse around if he/she can be saved: TOP nutrition, the BEST farrier you can find, and TIME. Annie never wore fancy "special" shoes but she got the BEST farrier care, good hay, lots of clean water and Accel supplement in a cup of horsie "kibble" each day. And lots of walking and turnout time to get oxygen to her feet and build up her atrophied muscles. Good Luck!

  • Amazing. :] Kudo's to you. We need more owners like that.

  • Beautiful job! Thanks for caring...that hoof looked scary...but no fear....she is amazing!

  • Annie is going to her new home the 1st of April. She will be going to a full care facility on 800 acres with lots of cows and other horses, and pasture time! My job with her is almost over, and now she has her entire life ahead of her. I am content. :)

  • Kudos to you! what a great job you've done! Lovely mare.

  • Wow! What an amazing recovery! She sure looks good and looks like she's having a wonderful time! THANK YOU for giving her a chance for a new life!

  • Whoo, go Annie! Sh'es looking very beautiful I must say.

I hope you find her a really good home. :)

  • She does my heart good. I saw her on fuglyhorseoftheday.

I wish I could adopt her. I love her spirit and the alert way she never really stops watching you, even while she's playing. What a good friend she'll be.

  • I hope your potential home pulls through! What a HAPPY girl, romping around that pen. Thanks for the great care you took with her. I've never heard of WLD, but it certainly looks...well...OUCH.

  • Bless you! Oh, her poor hooves, owie!! And look at her now, all happy and playing and sweet!

Amazing work, THANK YOU for saving this girl!

  • Luckily, I think we have a home for her. Thanks for all your good wishes!

  • THANK YOU all!! Annie is awesome. I am trying to load a clip of her very first ride which was last Saturday. She was so good. I think we can all learn a lot from animals if we only open our eyes. I still can't believe this mare was to be killed and was discarded like trash. She does have very nice movement and a first-class personality and temper. I hope her next home is her FOREVER home.

  • Ohhhh I wish I could take her! She is amazing...

  • Oh, wow, you've done an amazing job with her - she has gorgeous movement.

  • This is fantastic! Great job!

  • Wow...seeing her being able to run around like that brought tears to my eyes! Great job!

  • great, great job you've done with this mare- virtual high five.

I see great dresage potenial in this young mare!!

  • I think so too. Annie went to her new home on April 4th, one month to the day after my dear Dad passed away. As one life ends, so begins another. It is the Way.
