@johnnytsunami71 So the tuning for this song is "Inverted Standard," meaning that it IS EADGBE, but the A is dropped an octave and on the E string, and the A string is dropped down to E. So watching me play it, you should find some familiar shapes and sounds. The chords to this tune are G/F, A/G, Em7. I play actually the chord 5x540x. So think of it as an Em7 with the B's doubled. The 5th fret on the low A string gives you D, which is how you can establish that groove with the bassline on E or D

LOL Thanks man! It's a really tough arrangement, but I'm going to include a variation on the groove in my fingerstyle book. I don't wanna rub JT the wrong way and get dinged for selling my arrangement of his tune.

It's a really easy tuning, it's in "inverted standard" tuning. That is, AEDGBE, you drop the A an octave throw it on the E string, and bring the E over to the A string. Hence the familiar chord shapes
