They may have similar views but that does not make them the same. IE what was put to vote in 2008? There are too many variables to say they are the same. Even though I agree with Bush as well, and that is my right.
You can't have it both ways. Why criticize the comparison between Bush and McCain and yet like both McCain and Bush? If you think McCain has a different policy for us than Bush, state where they differ and why McCain's or Bush's stand on that issue is better or worse.

Who cares what Clinton thinks? A president's job is to make sound judgment and what makes you think the CIA was at fault?
There is no doubt to if congress is led by Democrats, that is plain fact. Bush may have veto power but if you have enough votes in the house and senate that is irrelevant. A presidents job is to protect and uphold the constitution.

Nothing happened during the last two years without Bush's approval. All congress could do is vote against some of Bush's policy leaving the policies inherited by Bush's first 6 years to be the course most likely to be in place. Don't try to make it as if Democrats are the cause to all the shortcomings in politics.
