I notice Boll plays epicly better when he's wearing all black. Take the World Cup when he took down China's Big Three (Wang Hao, WLQ, and Ma Lin) one after the other. I think two of those matches he was in all black. Same when he recently beat Ma Lin in the Qatar Open and Ma Long in last weekend's WTTC. (Of course he also lost to Jun in the same uniform, but let's ignore that one lol.)

I don't see why it being old would make him worse, this was not long after he was ranked #1, so if anything, he should have been better back then because this was before his back injuries.
