I have been to Europe and can say most of the bus drivers are this good. Ours parked in a spot just barely large enough to fit in and the rear end was hanging over a cliff very similar to this. We all got out and stared in awe of this parking job, the whole bus of Americans. They all seem to be amazing in Europe. They know their vehicles like the back of their hands there.
This was focken awesome. Ye never think ye'll need driving skills like that but someday it might happen. I was thinking the back-axel wasn't important in terms of manoeuvring the bus but still savage driving.
easily fit, still had another metre for the middle axle, the rear most is just a lazy axle (no drive) so it doesn't matter if ti goes air borne, the one that matters is the middle axle
I have to do shit like that every day at work cuz I drive 797B heavy haulers and the roads are only twice as wide as the truck. It's such an adrenaline rush cuz if you fall you loose a ten million dollar truck but afterwards you feel so proud of yourself :)
this is awesome

Bom condutor.. Mas hoje em dia é desnecessario fazer essas manobras arriscadas.. É por isso que temos as retundas.

If he can do that in a bus, imagine how nimble he would be in a normal car!

I tell people all the time that if you get in a tight bind you can maneuver in this manner.

Those neoplan skyliners are MASSIVE buses, takes serious skill to do that with any double decker but one which is as big as that is unbelievable.
Andyc18 2 years ago
Thats not actually a skyliner ;)
But search jumbocruiser to see massive, although I feel it cheats a bit since its an artic:P
Neoplan megaliner ftw ;)

Its all about knowing where your wheels are which is why you should always have well adjusted mirrors!
I'd never want to try this is my bus though!
Chickiewix 3 years ago 2
i wouldn't mind giving that a go if there were strings attached at the top of the bus

Isn't that.. incredibly dangerous? What happens to the driver if he goes over the edge?
ndet87 3 years ago
It would drop one foot and land on the frame. Then the crane behind the camera would lift it up back onto the wheels and he'd continue the u-turn.
