Humans have no idea of how to live in peace here on earth on this realm we cal life. But we think we can obtain ilumination by following a guru, a bearded man, reading a "sacred" book...How can we obtain that if we don't even have this?
Lots of negativity in these comments. These answers were clear and lucid, with a lot of thought put into them, and obviously a lot of experience to be able to answer them this way.

Realize what Ken is trying to do. His definition of love draws upon ancient philosophical concepts and places them within a modern context. It is a broader explanation than many shallow minds are ready to embrace. Read his books before you criticize Wilber. His words bespeak the sentiment of the greatest sages, thinkers, lovers, and messengers of good will the world has seen. Your innane posts reveal much longing. Don't be afraid to learn.

Cohen's own mother wrote a book called "Mother of God" that adds to the library of anti-Cohen and Google will quickly lead you to the numerous sites dedicated to detailing Wilber's self-congratulation and self-contradictions. This is not to say you might not find the odd good idea but listening to either of these ego-maniacs at length results in a low words to wisdom ratio.

Deconstructing and recognizing the truth of impermanence of all conditioned objects - ourselves included physically, however, recognizing that Consciousness exists outside of this space / time / material / objective reality. @supralee my gf and i have been studying stuff like this (not these guys) and she can bend a stainless steal spoon into a corkscrew. she isn't a weight lifter, doesn't have a kung fu grip, and she's not a ninja. she did something neither me or my weight-lifter friend could do. she bent that sh*t into a corkscrew. I know you can't believe anything like that until you see it. but all u need is love. and it's mastering what these apparent d-bags are speaking about. shit's not normal but it's real.
