  • simply quit what you don't love.

  • i hate when people say "they". "they" want to turn us into machines. this society is completely composed of people who dissagree with it, yet we're (I!) am too fucking lazy to do anything about it. it's not a conspiracy, if you want change, go fight for it.

  • What movie is the opening scene from?

  • Nice addition to the growing ground swell of people who are finally finding a voice that expresses their feelings of discontentment towards the 'normal' and the status quo we are told to accept without question.the paradigm shift is happening,we are evolving through our ideas, institutions and economies are crumbling because they are becoming increasingly irrelevant.'the reason the modern world goes so fast is because it is constantly having to outrun it's own collapse' -The Coming Insurrection.

  • Truthfully, even if our civilization fails today, and we go back to the wild some day... There isn't much of the wild left, we take up so much of nature, it's pathetic. We are trapped between 2 worlds and there is no way out.

  • Thanks for answering my comment.

The system is a problem. But the real problem is in the minds of the people enslaved to the system. Merely bringing down the external structure will only make things worse. History is the tragic story of those who thought they could solve problems with violence (that's the only way the system will go). There is a point of infinite light within every one of us and that's where the answers are.

  • I agree with many of your ideas, but as an Israeli Jew was disturbed by the anti-Israel propaganda inserted at the end of the clip. There are severe problems here. Promoting lies, hatred and misunderstanding will do little to solve them. Israel is a deeply traumatized society, partly due to other figures featured in your film (Hitler). Pain and suffering multiply. The violence here is mutual and we all lose in war. Promoting reconciliation and understanding will help ease the distrust.

  • If you watch the whole movie you will get the point. Just as the jews had the right to defend themselves against nazi-germany, palestinians have the right to defend themselves against zionist-israel... I'm just as much anti-sweden or anti-finland as anti-israel; I'm against all states because I'm an anarchist. I'm NOT pomoting lies, hatred and misunderstanding... I'm promoting self-defence. you want to see peace. bring down the system, man...

  • @deadsociety0 yeah man...i could`n`t put it better myself

    BRING THE SYSTEM DOWN!

  • It disturbs me that many people confuse the people in Israel with 'the state of Israel'.

Average people in Israel have about as much say in the actions of their state as we have in ours.

I think that demonising any people because of the actions of "their" state falls straight into the ideological trap set by statism, it is a path that leads to nationalist sentiment & sectarianism and, ultimately, cements and reinforces the state by inculcating a persecution mentality in the population.

  • @shimonpalmer

leaving stolen land would promote it even better.

  • @shim With Hitler, Jews become victim-heroes and gain justification in all things. We now know from the DNA testing of Hitler's relatives that he was part Jewish. Hitler's rise to power was funded by wealthy Zionists. They bankrupted the Weimar Republic and then funded Hitler in order to create the nation of Israel whilst profiting from funding 2 sides in a war which resulted in tens of millions of gentile deaths.

  • when you think we are facing the end, then I think you are facing the beginning.

  • Do you even know what logic means? I don't think so. I just think that you are using pseudo-spiritual arguments to legitimize your own passivity. You don't want to do anything? Fine with me, but please don't try to justify it with bullshit...

  • One day we might see that we came out of it because of there was optimist that beleived in a real human society.

You have right if we remain passive in the believe of something spiritual and continue our greed we will not survive.

But on the onther handI if we go deep into the nature of evey unit we will see that there is a system and logic behind. You can see everything as chaos as you like, that is when you look at our brute leaders.

  • I hate to be a pedant, but there is no such thing as "a logical impossibility".

The rest of your post appears to be the plot of Battlestar Galactica.

  • it is not that @they want but it just goes like this.

  • "Do you think that this culture is killing the planet?"

I would have given him such an odd look. Seriously, how can you not know this?

  • Do You think that this culture is killing the planet?

  • Not only do I think, I know! Well, as much as any human can know...

  • Note: I haven't watched all the parts yet.

Who is this they that is mentioned? Why do we continue this us vs them mentality? We are them just as they are us. The mentality that leaders or those with power within society are consciously and actively seeking some grand disastrous plan seems inconceivable to me, for their existence is just as tied up with this whole mess as ours is. If anarchists are going to improve, we have to stop speaking of them and start speaking of we.

  • Who they are, you answered to that question yourself. Who you are, you can only answer for yourself. But the we are divided by division of labour and they want to increase their power by decreasing our freedom. That is the system. And that is what I want to destroy.

  • there is no other true anarchist than anarcho syndicalist....

  • lol @ people who are dependent on a culture they "hate" to manifest themselves.

  • It is up to civilisation to prove its worth, for it certainly sacrificed alot towards the end of material progress. Certaibly the privaleged have the fruits of this violence, the decadent accoutriments of human power. But we must see civilisation in it entirety not simply its good points. We need a radical departure towards a post-civ era of rewilding and healing, keeping whatever junk we need to. Continued industrial production however is simply not viable however much we would like it to be.

  • Very intense and hard to take. I thought of the labs burned down by animal rights extremists. And I say...keep burning them! Shoot some scientists along the way, please.

  • Millions of people are dying of diseases, pollution and starvation and you talk about art and health care for the priviligied few who's lifestyles are maintaned on the expence of others death and misery. I wonder who's the sociopath akaso405?

  • Everybody dies. The question is how you live. Institutions were formed as an attempt to solve problems created by institutions. It's the same insane thought process as when an alcoholic drinks alcohol to ease the problems created by alcohol. And an alcoholic can become quite hostile, even violent, if someone points that out for the alcoholic. Why? because the alcoholic can't see any alternatives on how to ease the pain. But ones an alcoholic have woken up...

  • to the fact that there are alternatives the alcoholic can get sober. It's the same thing with civilization. There are alternatives to the misery... but of cource there must be a transition, a healing period.

  • I will. In fact, you motivated me to kill the next boss who lays me off.

  • Everybody has their limits. Who needs one more corporate asshole, anyway?

  • If you kill a man, aren't you taking away his or her own right to live freely like any anarchist?

People who have ties to the Animal/Earth Liberation Front do not cause homicidal damage.

  • That post was several months ago. I've mellowed out since then. Here, have a flower.

  • sighs...i hate the life that has been created for us...

  • sighs...i hate the life that has been created for us...

  • sighs...i hate the life that has been created for us...

  • I hope you're a vegetarian. The world consumed 180 million tons of meat in 2007, if that's not abusing animals, I don't know what is.

  • Look, animals have been eating animals for over 300 million years. That's the animal world for you.

Animals will continue to eat other animals for billions of years after we are gone, so get over it.

  • Sure, I acknowledge that and have no problem with it. But there were not 6 billion people that for 300 millions fed up animals on industrial scale and eating meat whenever it pleases them; not just when nature provides for it. THAT, since a century, is a problem for our environment.

  • There's nothing natural about modern meat farming. You want to eat meat, go hunting. Those fat pigeons & rats outside McDonalds could be good for a pot roast! Digusted? Hey, it's probably healthier than the factory produced meat products in your local supermarket. Get over it!

  • "Go hunting"??!!

Are you crazy? You are being totally unreasonable since we live in concrete cities.

How can we have Hospitals, Internet and eat meat at the same time?

    Modern meat farming!

  • There are lots of pigeons in and around the city. Plenty to eat!

  • rats and roaches too

  • I'd hold off on the roaches for now...

  • some can not cope quite well with civi cause it´s not enuogh for them , others - because it´s too much for them. THINK ABOUT IT deadsociety0. zerzan is the first case, you unfortunately the second :((

that´s my opinion about your movie. i had a better view about the swedes by the way. sorry to say all this, but at some point you ´ve gotta been told this at least once in your life.

    agggrrrhh......

ignorance drives me up the wall boy. 8-((

  • It might be an idea to communicate in a language that roughly approximates English

  • Yeah, one more ignorant.....

  • fucking heartbreaking

    weeping

  • The problem with civilization is not merely a question of sustainability and the impact civilization has on the earth, but also about the effect civilization has on people's minds. I think Derrick Jensen did a perfect job in analysing this in his books such as 'Endgame'. Civilization is destroying the ways in which we can relate to each other (as well as the planet) as sane human beings, dependant on one another, and that is the main reason why I think civilization needs to be brought down.

  • yes patri the way civilization destroys the ways we relate to each other is exceedingly disturbing and disheartening, as we fight it in ourselves, and see it in others....

  • Civilization is for the weak. I can't wait for an excuse to help destroy it once and for all.

  • what are you waiting for!?

  • @roargathor Just be prepared to be shot in the process, pal.

  • @diman75 Like Thomas Jefferson, Yes brother I'm prepaired to die for my belifes, as more people 'Wake Up' we grow in strenghth, and we gain more courage to raise of voices as God intended. I am a peaceful man, however God gave me the facillities and capacity to defend my life if it is threatened, and currently my future is threatened by a destructive and greedy ruling elite that has no concern for my prosperity or individual liberty. Yes I am ready to bleed and give my life to protect love.

  • @roargathor Yes brothers and sisters I refuse to continue to continue to serve another. 'Civillization as we know it in the industlized world is just an easy way for people to live. And generally where there is 'easy' there is great evil (sloth). I coose to live in the light of truth and so I too reject this Civillization. I can follow only God, and God is not currently running any government I know of on this planet. To restore balance to the planet lies, deception, and greed must be stopped.

  • If humanity were to give up technology and civilization, it would be the greatest case of wasted potential imaginable.

As for sustainability - it could be done, if population was controlled correctly. The problem isn't civilization, it's overpopulation.

Believe me, I know quite a bit about Peak Oil. I've thought about it, and looked it up. Civilization itself is a tool, just as technology is a tool. It does not create a problem until it is misused.

  • It has NOTHING to do with Peak Oil.

Technology is not neutral. To bring it about we must have certain social structures as well as certain levels of consumption.

  • "greatest case of wasted potential imaginable"

    potential for what?

    greed?

    lust?

    selfishness?

  • cool

  • human civilization out of existence!!
