@Tommyman1121 That doesn't mean he loved her. I don't remember the movie too well, but I'm pretty sure he did it because he felt he had no other choice; and that he felt sorry for Emily. Techno' Emily took the bad guy's life and forced him into marriage with her like he promised anyway, so Victor couldn't have married her if he wanted to =P

He certaintly cared about her, but he didn't love her.

depends what they do to hurt you i guess. my ex just broke up with me because everytime he let me down or something i got upset. and everytime i got upset he'd get angry. then i wud and we'd argue. and tht made him fall outta love with me. but my first love and me argued all the time and then some shit happend with some other lad and we were still ok for a bit then it ended and we were both crushed. and it took ages for tht love to die. i guess depends on if its love or if its lust.
