  • I'm wondering if using the gel-10 to make a cast like this would be better than using the gypsum? I'm putting clay on top of my armature and then trying to make a gypsum cast of it. It will be a shoulders and head mask when I'm done. I'm worried that when I put the gypsum on it I will not be able to get my armature back out because the gypsum is stiff. If I used Gel 10 this way it seems like it would work better? thanks for the videos!

  • @Ninjaculation Most rubber mold methods will allow you to preserve your original. Just make sure that your casting material is compatible with your mold material.

thanks for the response! :D Any suggestions as to a casting rubber that is compatible with gel 10?

thanks! :D You guys are getting 20% of my paycheck on the first of the month. Love your videos and your products!

  • @Ninjaculation You can use a Gel-10 mold to cast any of our urethane rubber or urethane plastics. You can cast Gel-10 into Gel-10 but you will need to apply a really good release (such as vaseline+miniral spirits) to keep the two materials from bonding.
