good video! glad that there are ppl out there that really make a difference! it pisses me off soo much when i see our beautiful natural world being trashed by lazy ppl! its irritating pick up ur trash and put it in your pocket or bag. its not that hard!!

Nice work. Mile 6 was trashed the last time I went through, it's such a shame. Who picks up the huge pile of garbage bags at the beach?

The locals that live and visit the beach have been boating bags out. Even though it's illegal, they know they have to do it. The State doesn't have the funding. They even hauled away trash that the DLNR left behind!

wow 4,000 llbs of trash ... lot of party people out there?.. thats what we have on our rivers here ...lot of clean up done because of rowdy people.. good job

Thanks for the comments. There is not so much partying out there as there are enthusiastic folks who carry in a lot of gear- tent, sleeping bags, ground pads, books, cooking pots, etc only to realize they have too much stuff. Many think if they leave some gear behind someone else will be able to use it. Also, DLNR agents (who some call Rangers, but they are not) come in on a regular basis and slash tents, confiscate tarps, gear, etc. This adds up to a lot of garbage too. What rivers RU near?

the big river around here ..is the Saco river ...In NH , ME .. lots of other water to canoe on though. I gotta get to up to Alaska someday..
