Do you really? Cause, Squall is very coldhearted in the game. He doesn't seem to care about her or anyone. I know, he gets softer throughout the game, but he still stays the same. Rinoa does try to be with him but it doesn't work quite well. They never say ''I love you'' or anything in that genre. Its a little iffy, to me, not the best love story.
@38GencFenerli he's just sort of closed.. I just like the fact that Rinoa can open him up. besides.. "I love you" is sorta thrown around too much..it doesnt have to be said..it just is. but that's just my opinion.

@fierystorm213 Yeah, i said that too in an other video some days ago, i never been touched by any story (in videogames, books, movies, whatever) as much as i was in FF VIII. For me it's perfection, there is FF VIII and the rest of the world, it can be touch on my mind, that was such a meaningfull and beautifull game.
I think that what humans will look like 1000 years from now. :-)
