may i suggest a much healthier alternative? take two slices of bread, smear one side with nutella and the other with ricotta cheese. press together and enjoy! (no toasting frying just plain soft bread) (this is a well known italian recipe ;))

There are a lot of different kinds of bread

But in general Whole-grain bread, wholemeal bread, wholewheat bread or however you call it in America

It Canada it was almost impossible to find something like that.All you could buy in the supermarkets was toast and toast with maple syrup which looks like normal bread from far away but turns out as toast as well pretty soon^^

btw: America is fat but I think there's no big difference to Germany and other countries. ^^

In my opinion, whole grain bread is a LOT better than the white bread. It's got fiber, it's more filling, and just overall tastes better. White bread is nothing more than empty calories...And really? I thought America was the primary country with morbidly obese people.

I mean, American food culture plays an important role all over the world. Mc Donalds is the biggest fast food chain in Germany, followed by Burger King, Pizza Hut and Subway. People love fast food all over the world. Not only burgers. You can buy almost everything as fast food nowadays.

btw. you know what tastes awesome too? Nutella + croissant ^^

Yeah, that is very true. At least out of those options Subway is pretty decent. Fresh vegetables, lean meats, etc. The others are undoubtedly very unhealthy.

Another great recipe is smearing NUTELLA on white bread, placing a banana in it and rolling it. Then u can slice it and make like little choco-banana dessert sushi rolls. It is freakin Awsome!!!
