  • chaos!!! haha. i love it! you're incredible. i can't believe the knee thing, btw- unreal. and the whole thing is so free, i love it.

  • @brecken77 Thank you for reminding me of the choas...and the structure.

  • sharna, besides the fact you just blew me away with planes... I want to say (in the most sincere online post way) THANK YOU. I almost wanted to throw in the towel with my hooping, I was kinda getting bored and this video just made me change my mind. Thank you for your inspiration, it means a lot :)

  • @lizahoop Thank you for your comment... I really appreciate it. I want to throw in the towel constantly these days but somehow I hang on in. I feel so isolated at times and it makes me sad but the hoop keeps me sane.

  • @sharnarose I know, my reason for throwin the towel in is because I lost my "family" of hoopers, the venue, and everyone moved far away, I'm kinda just lost now. My joy with hooping was sincerely 'the joy of hooping with others' and without the 'others' I don't have my inspiration. I went to a small hoop jam last night, and tried the whole "elbow hoop while doing an iso body spin" I saw in your video, and I think I broke my toe. Keep on rockin those sick moves, much love to ya! <3

  • @lizahoop I know what you mean about being lonely. I have few hoopers that I actually hoop with regularly... I mean thank goodness for the internet. This weekend the snow put a stop to me hooping with Brecken and that has made me really sad. I do have some pretty super techniques for never becoming bored on my own, so hopefully I will make a DVD in 2011 and I can share those with the wider world. I am sorry about your toe :-(

  • @sharnarose Snow is pretty crappy when it comes to hooping.... but missing out on a date with brecken has to bite it hard. I'm sorry to hear that. When you make a DVD, make sure you send me a copy! You're my hoopin hero!

  • @lizahoop Thanks for the love, I kind of get quite depressed from time to time and its always a lift to get some love xxxx

  • Do you use a polypro?

  • @y3llow5ub These hoops are store brought ones, cut down and the insides removed... then pot rivet... then fire opal. Hard for shoulder work but fun for quick direction, plane shift :-)

  • Your style is incredible, thanks for sharing this gem! Just added it to my blog with a note of thanks [healthyhoopers(dot)com].

  • @HealthyHoopers Thank you for the nod.....

  • pure madness!

  • Madame, I wish you were my neighbor so I could hoop with you! It's sick!

  • you are my favorite hooper ever :)

  • LOVE watching ya! I LOVE that you do not have to have things perfect to post the vids. Thanks for sharing.

  • dude sweet outfit! love the elbow spin! and your chin reversals look amazing!! I'm impressed you can keep your glasses on movin like that

  • yes yes yes yes to the crazy elbow turn - haven't had a go with it since saturday but looks awesome so will get on it!

    crazy shit as always!!

More workshops Sharna!!!!! Do it! Do it!

  • rawr!!! shit blows my mind. :-)

  • i love your videos, they are soooooo inspiring! :) what size of hoop are you using? thanks for sharing!!! love your style!!

  • @formiguilla This is a store brought hoop, size 30 inch ish and taped with fire opal tape. Its bouncy and light.... I love it more than poly prop :-)

  • I love your hair!!!!! (and of course your hooping too)

  • Experimentation is the best part of dancing! It's really inspiring to see another hooper--especially one as good as you--doing this, because it gives other hoopers ideas. I really want to do some of these moves now. Great job! :D
