Yes. Tweezers and fingers are fine to use. Starlings are a very strong species. Give them softened science diet LIGHT cat food and meal worms every twenty minutes... as they get older it will be more like every 2 hours.

Oh twisers work?? i have a baby starling that was caught by my cat. its mom and siblings are dead. how old are yours and what do they eat???

ahhh how sweet. I have 2 big nests of starlings under my deck. I think they are the sweetest things. They make such a racket though.
