I never understand that. How in the world is it SO easy for a man to pee on a toilet seat if they left it down while using it?! Why on earth do they have to have it up while using the toilet?!
I'm female and feel the toilet seat should ALWAYS be left down no matter what!
It greatly annoys me if when I come to use the lav, that I find the toilet seat left up!
My brother and/or one of his friends would every once in a while,leave the seat up, then I find it like that when I use it. Again.... very annoying! :-(

Just some food for thought.
Why not put the seat up for the man?
The men have to put the seat up so they don't pee on it.
The women have to put it down so they don't fall in it.
Besides if men check the position of the seat before doing their business women can sure as hell do the same.
Are they so retarded that they cannot check its position before sitting?
Its her own stupidity if she falls in for failing to look before you sit.

If I could really comprehend that, then I might consider doing something a bit better about the situation.
I think someone out there should re-invent the toilet so there's no question of having a seat up or down at all.
