THE QUALITY OF MICHELE IS AMAZING, OUT OF THIS WORLD, I AM PRETTY SURE GOD IS ENJOYING HIS MAGNIFICENT ARTISTRY IN HEAVEN!!!...HE IS AMONG THE BEST OF ALL TIMES, PERIOD.
Down below there is a comparison between Michel Petrucciani and Keith Jarrett; this is an apt comparison. No doubt that Jarrett is a giant; that goes without saying. That said, Pertrucciani is, in his own way, as able, as innovative, and and bursting with musical vision and ideas as Jarrett. Petrucciani is less heralded. I could never figure that out. No doubt, Pertucciani was a GIANT, and remains so.
@grumblekin You should never compare one great artist to another. They each contribute something rare and distinct. If you are a musician, shame on you!!!
Ok, it must be all kind of people and tastes in the universe. But I still don't understand how can be two ones that check " I don't like" on this Performance (listen the Capital letter). If you don't like this Music, you two poor little souls, at least respect a little bit the hard and exemplary work of a Unique Master Genius.
@DajaWaja - sporadiquement just keeps blathering about Petrucciani's height not impacting his talent. Obivously he's a misunderstood soul that has to post like 6 times the same comment so people will start paying attention to him ...
Man looks to the outside, God looks to the inside to see what a man is made of! What is the point in being "perfect" on the outside, looking good to man and waste your life, this is a real man,a musician! He's a real cool cat !
What a load of sanctimonious nonsense. Plenty of men (and women) were able to appreciate Michel Petrucciani's amazing musical talent. Sadly, Petrucciani only lived to the age of 36, owing to his severe, God-given physical disabilities.
@pdavies65 probably without this God-given disability, he were'nt the big artist he's been... Sometime the limit is the way to the glory... And one only concert of a talent genius like this is a piece of eternity... 36 years or 360 are only human conventions.
Wow! wow! wow! I am gob smacked for words.......................sheer brilliance...............a complete master of his instrument.. Simply WONDERFUL!
