With the Normal gain on 1 and the volume dimed, are you still able to play clean at the amps full volume? I love the way this amps overdrive and grit sounds but I want something that can be clean without sacrificing volume.
I just ordered one of these to run with my 20H, which I set up with some lower gain preamp tubes for a clean sound. Should be a great back up rig when I don't want to bring the real Soldanos out to those "crazy" gigs. LOL
@FastRedPonyCar LOL actually I was thinking about theft. It's hard for me to be comfortable at a "dive bar" when I'm worrying about several thousands of dollars worth of gear ;P
This amp doesn't have a clean channel. Its a lower gain channel. It's the equivalant of the SLO's normal channel with the crunch switch permanently hard wired "on".
