  • This is a switch... cops bein friendly with Occupy members? Maybe things are getting better

  • we can assess the validity of the information by analyzing discrepancies between real Occupy protestors and impostors who’ve infiltrated the group. Read more at healthquiz (dot) wordpress (slash) com

  • The "zeitgeist' movement is a spiritual ideology, ... it is the same thing as any other denomination promoting their agenda...they just use the common disgruntled condition of the average Joe...they give truthful information in order to mislead...ask any one of them.... " What do you plan for the people who don't go along with your 'resource based economy"...what are you going to do with those who don't want to surrender their property to the 'state' for redistribution?

  • @InfiniteMischief "what are you going to do with those who don't want to surrender their property to the 'state' for redistribution?"

What is it that you have that is so valuable and rare that modern techniques of manufacture cannot duplicate? I doubt that there is anything that you have that is THAT special, but the point is that we won't need to confiscate anything once we run an economy that isn't based on money, but based on resources.

  • @technatezin are these resources magically going to appear in transporters that you talk too?...did you invent some tech that will materialize food on a tray? people have to work to grow grain, to make flour, for one of the ingredients for bread...what medium of exchange do you intent for the grower of the grain to use to eat bread? or will it go into the great computer and everyone be tracked and evaluated for contribution?...the world is already controlled by resources and....

  • @InfiniteMischief "people have to work to grow grain, to make flour, for one of the ingredients for bread"

Okay, look at it this way. Is growing food today with internal combustion engines running tractors easier to do now than it was 200 years ago without such technologies? Is it easier now to calculate and automate things now with electronic computers than it was 200 years ago without such technologies? And, we're talking about 18th century inefficient heat engine tech. not sophisticated ...

  • @InfiniteMischief (cont.) "everyone be tracked and evaluated for contribution?"

This could happen if a resource based economy was implemented before like in the early twentieth century, but it's not necessary nor even productive in any significant way to do so now. With the advent of electronic technologies to automate and reduce complex tasks into elementary repeatable steps and with efficient electric technologies human/animal muscle power is insignificant to the production process.

  • @technatezin the guys with the guns and bombs... why else did you think we invaded iraq/afganistan/lybia...et all... The question still remains, 'what will you do with the people who don't want to surrender their resources or their ability to produce resources to the state?'

  • @InfiniteMischief (cont.)

Firstly, because we already have the know-how to build things and machines in a far more effective and less labor intensive way than the present establishment why would we need to confiscate obsolete assembly line technologies? It's like asking top engineers and technicians to design a 200 year old antique windmill or watermill when they can design nuke plants and automated robot manufacturing centers.

  • @technatezin there is no way to implement a resource based economy with-out forcible removing power, resource and influence from governments and those who run those systems. If your waiting for the 'elite' of our world to willingly give up power despite the 'awakening' of the sheeple you will be waiting and long...long time. Yes the technocrats run most of the world, the IMF and world bank, the UN and all those guys are 'one world government' technocrats.

  • @InfiniteMischief (cont.)

Secondly, we can simply bypass those have a personal emotional fixation or old ways of making things, doing things and organizing people and resources. If enough people want change and this depends on the mindset of people we can persuade, we can simply ask people to drop out of what they're doing because it's simply not worth the effort. Why the need to conquer when the workers in the "enemy camp" simply refuses to work with obsolete technologies and ideas?

  • "The people who are in contro;... will never give up control." The people who are in control only exercise their control through the ignorance of the 99%. The only power they have is the masses submitting to the system. TZM is about awareness and education at this point to wake people up to the flaws the current system. Also TVP is not some static idea that we're trying to impose. An RBE that is born out of a worldwide transformation will look very different.

  • Jews have stolen all they can from us. Our childrens children will not pay off our kosher dept. Now they can eradicate our 'archaic' government under the guise of fixing the problem. moving forward.. to jewish supremacy.

  • I also just wanted to throw out here that I agree that certain aspects of TVP are not ideal and don't take into account transition from our current society but I also see ways around it. My whole family is into stripping cars and motorcycles and building hotrods. All very hands on. Things like this don't have to change and you have the added option of 3D Printing and eventually Nano Molecular Assembly to design vehicles that are out of this world. Creativity knows no bounds.

  • This guy is selling something...

  • @JRM1812 That is an assumption based out of the mentality of a selling world. Actually we really just care about the direction the entire world is moving in and we know how to make it work for everyone. And it's a very simple concept that uses what we already know and have.

  • @GimmeTheReason "And we know how to make it work for everyone" that is extremely scary. Why do you think you have all the answers? It is very narrow minded. I have read the Venus Project and it is a very bleak future. It is not ideal and there are those of us out there that oppose it. I am not the 99% I am not the 1%. BTW... it is a selling world, we grew up in a selling world and you don't just change. It's hypocritical to say otherwise.

  • @JRM1812 I'm going to answer your points in random order."BTW... it is a selling world, we grew up in a selling world and you don't just change." This is like saying that "everytime I pass a bridge my car tries to veer into it. It's always done this so I'm not going to fix it. I'll just wait until it hits the bridge and kills me." We've all grown up with traditional institutions and mindsets but we live in an emergent world where evolution of thought and understanding is constant. Doesn't work.

  • @GimmeTheReason Do you have a computer? Do you own a camera? A TV, DVD player? Do you buy clothes, food, gas? Do you drive on the roads, live in a house with electricity and heat? Etc etc etc. It is a buying-selling consumer corporate world and you are apart of it therefore...you have not changed and can not sell me the change you desire and can not convince me the Zeitgeist movement isn't selling the Venus project when their objective is to do just that....

  • @JRM1812 You make no sense to me. All of those things were invented by our collective ancestors. I didn't invent them. You didn't invent them. However, we both have access to them. The only reason they are bought and sold is because we have an economic system based on monetary circulation. These things would still exist in a world based on resources, they would just be the strategic best that could be produced eliminating about 70% of the useless products that exist only because of affordability

  • @JRM1812 Furthermore, I do not choose to live in this primitive and obsolete monetary/market system. I, like everyone else is forced to be a part of it as I, like everyone else was born into it. If we want to survive we deal with it. That doesn't mean however that I have no vision for the future. Take a look around this planet at the one billion starving, with 80% of the population of the planet making $10 or less per day. Really? You can't think of a better system than this?

  • @JRM1812 I have a thought exercise for you JRM. Instead of thinking like the US Congress who's LONG-TERM planning is six months, or thinking quarterly like the corporate world, project into the future twenty thousand generations unborn. Is your monetary/market paradigm going to support all of them? Of course it isn't. it doesn't even support all of us right now. And what is the point of a global economic system that barely supports 20%. It's supposed to support 100% without global chaos.

  • @JRM1812 "And we know how to make it work for everyone" - We know how to retool the industial sector bringing all relevant knowledge together to produce the best goods and services and remove the waste, inefficiency and hierarchy. We know how to retool the energy sector to manage the world's energy needs using clean. renewable systems. We know how to build intercontinental and local transportation systems that are not wasteful, cumbersome, etc. We know how the infrastructure should work.

  • @JRM1812 We have a basis of how education can work. We have a basis of how emergency services and medical needs can work. We have a vast understanding of the best known methods and technologies so we can meet the physical and emotional demands of the total population. We absolutely invite everyone to contribute to designing and building an environment that works for everyone. I'll say it again. TVP represents what could be done, not what will be done. I invite open discussion of all issues.

  • @GimmeTheReason Your putting yourself on a pedestal thinking this way. It is very scary.

  • @JRM1812 "Your putting yourself on a pedestal thinking this way. It is very scary." When I say "we know how to improve the infrastructure" I am talking about humanity, collectively. We have all these technologies and systems already, but the financial cost, need to sell them and produce profit is blocking their use and will continue to do so for decades to come. Meanwhile we all suffer in this primitive paradigm where time is literally standing still. Man-made debt money stops us. Pathetic!

  • So who is going to be our leader until the robots take over?

  • @JRM1812 Robots can't take over, they are robots. People superimpose human intellect onto technology because fictional movies created by hollywood make everyone think a takeover is possible. It's not. Computers will only be used in arriving at decisions involving technical issues of how the new infrastructure functions. Automation replaces human labor where possible allowing people to do things that are more meaningful to themselves and more relevant to society as a whole.

  • @GimmeTheReason You didn't answer my question....I was being sarcastic...The people who are in control "until the robots take over"...(jokes) will never give up control. There are too many holes in the Venus project, it is not a believable solution.

  • @JRM1812 Not if you make it transparent and open. There are currently millions of people protesting worldwide. The more we spread our message of an RBE (not the Venus Project) the more people come on board. The group you are referring to would be comprised of the public, people who want to see the change through. Every meeting could be televised. Every decision could be voted upon until the infrastructure is designed and built. I don't blindly support TVP. It is a foundation to be expanded upon.

  • @JRM1812 "There are too many holes in the Venus project, it is not a believable solution." This tells me nothing. Make a list of the holes you see.

  • Nice one

  • Yeah, a resource based economy is the way to go!
