  • what kind of pro junior is it normal tweed blonde ?

    cause I got a blonde one :]

  • @superiansuper Yeah sounds like the same amp. Mine is a 94

  • Sounds great!

  • That was fuckin cool.

  • Thanks!

  • Other than an open tuning (assuming you're using one) did you have to do any special setup for using a bottleneck?

  • Fucking great man. Haha. There is a lot of "feel" in it. Sounds amazing. Wish I could slide that good. I'd like to know what slide you have, what tuning, and why i get so much BUZZ with mine. Thanks-Cody

  • That's pretty sweet, man!

  • Thanks! I appreciate it.

  • Do you ever have any problems with the bridge coming up certain tunings?

  • At the time I had it blocked. Currently I have it floating so now drop D is a bitch! lol Thanks for watching!

    Darryl

  • great. 5/5

  • Thanks

  • Great man....nice slide work!!!

  • Thank you

  • nice sofa dude,

  • LOL

  • lol I knew I'd get upstaged!

  • jgh

  • Nice job man, reminds me of some nice ol' Robert johnson material.

  • Thanks! I appreciate it. Now that's a compliment!

  • nice nice

  • Thanks

  • what gauge strings are you using and did you have to adjust the truss rod?

  • D'addaio 11's and no adjustment that I remember but I bought it with real light strings so I probably did one once I put heavier strings on! Thanks for watching

  • is that an open D or an open G or just regular tuning if i may ask?

  • Open G! DGDGBD

  • man nice playing usualy when i search a slide i get guys that have who dont have a that sounds that makes my fingers feel wierd so good job man you made my fingers feel wierd

  • Thank you!

  • I have been playing since 1976 and this is good. Nice shit! Peace on,,,,,,,,,

  • Thank's so much for taking the time to listen!

  • Very nice player, very nice sound!

  • Thank's!

  • If I could play like that, the slide would never leave my pinky.

  • Thank's! I should do it more, but I keep trying different styles. I am teaching a few students slide so hopefully at least 1 will be a slide player! Thank's again,

    Darryl

  • Got a little Ry Cooder in ya.

  • THANK YOU!!! I listen to him a bit not a whole lot lately....till now!!

  • That was really cool man. I like the way you kept the beat with the muted 6th. Nice tone too (hard not to have nice tone with a decent strat and the pro junior :)) Keep up the good work comrade !

  • Thank's very much!

  • hey guys I was going to get one of these. I dont know too much about modding guitars, but I wanted to take the pick ups out, put the neck in the middle, and put 59 hums in the neck and the bridge. now I know that can be done, but will it mean I'll have to cut into the body and carve out new slots for the humbuckers? any help would be great!

  • first off why would you put the neck in the middle instead of leaving the MIDDLE in the middle spot??? secondly yes, humbuckers are much bigger than single coils and you will have to rout into the body. Also it will still sound NOTHING like a les paul if thats what you were trying to do with the humbuckers.

  • Nice man! Do you ever use the short (1-1 1/2 inch give or take) slides? Thats what I have been using lately. Do you ever play twelve stings? I just bought a 12 string ovation and I love it to death. I have a strat too. Nice playing give me a response if possible thanks

  • Hope you get my message! Thank's!

  • what tuning is this in?

  • Open G (DGDGBD)

  • Nice groove, man. I just started to mess around with a slide a little bit. Stones' "No Expectations" in open E. Having fun, but not smooth yet like you.

  • Sounds like the real deal man!

  • Man that is sum wicked slide playing! Could u please tell me of any good instructional books/videos that have helped u master the slide technique? Btw what tuning are u in for this jam? Thanks so much!

  • u sound great man, one suggestion, listen to some sonny landreth if you haven't already he'll blow your slide mind! nice work.

  • I have his "South of I10" and " Live @ Grant ST"!!! He is an influence for sure. I learned how to fret behind the slide from him, and that's a Big part of my slide playing now! Thank's for the suggestion and the compliment! BTW I also dig Derek Trucks, Johnny Winter, Duane Allman ,Harry Manx, Kelly Joe Phelps+ many I'm forgetting!

    Thank's again,

    Darryl

  • Play very nice! very good skill man!

  • Thank's, I worked hard at my slide playing and it's good to recieve a comment like your's!

    Darryl

  • never played with a slide but looks and sounds great, nice playing

  • Thanks very much and I hope your inspired enough to give it a try!

    Darryl

  • im going to the same guitar just whit and a maple jumbo fret V neck and eventually new pick ups

  • I really dig mine! I have'nt changed a thing!

  • That's very good slide playing.

  • Thank's man!

  • man , keep playing that slide!! what year is your strat ?

  • Thank's! I was way into slide a few years ago, but lately I been hard at the fingerstyle. I'm sure it'll come back around. I have a 2001, that I got in late '02. If I could only have one guitar on a desert island, this is it!

  • its good to see people playing real music

  • Very good! Is that standard e-tuning?

  • does that amp get loud enough to play a gig, im thinking about getting one or should i be looking at a fender hot rod deluxe?

  • I'm sure it has it's limits at big venues, but it will definitley cut through in a bass/drums rock or blues band setting. Crank it and use your guitar volume. Also an awesome harmonica amp!

  • Very good job!

I dont know how to play slide ;)

  • Sounds good. What kind of amp are u using?

  • Fender Pro Junior(15 watt tube 1x10), w/ a Electro Harmonix Holy grail Reverb. Thank's!

  • very nice

  • enjoyed

  • wow

  • Enjoyed that very much.Great guitar and amp combo mate.Keep on trucking.

  • Wow, awesome, soulful playing !

  • Thank's very much!

  • that sounds an awful lot like in my time of dying by led zeppelin

    i smell a conspiracy

  • Now that's a compliment! Man what a tune, I wanna go play it! I swear I did'nt have it in mind, maybe subliminally! Thank's!

  • That's cool playing :) Okay, now I'm glad I met another person who plays with his finger too.

  • Thank's and your not alone!

  • Excellent work Daz! Quite a different sound from your recent stuff, I liked it. It's a familiar style...I'm ashamed to ask, but what's it called?

  • Hey Thank's! This is a video i was gonna send you unconverted, but I posted it instead without converting it to see(I tried this before but it did'nt work, that's why I was converting them in the first place),let me know if it sound's any better! Thank's again!

  • It's really just off the top of my head, but the first riff is kinda reminiscient of The Allman Bros "Old Friend"(Hittin' the note). Thank's

  • That's great...way to go bro,

nice to hear you play that strat again...miss listening to you jammin in the shed...lol.

  • Me too!

  • out of sight man ! :), what strings do you pot on that baby ?.

  • Thank's, D'Addario XL 11's.

  • enjoyed that one!

I like the twang out of that strat.

  • Thank's Man!
