Thanks for that. I think if you right click on your combined audio-video track and choose split audio, it also might solve the synchronization problem with Hi-Def video. But thenif you want to cut anything you will have to ungroup the two files then regroup them after if you need to. If you know where a cut needs to be made by referring to the video only, then after you have cut you can split the file into an audio and video track.

Kdenlive shows a Frame Rate of 24.000384
Could you view it properly? My wife's pc doesn't show it on youtube right. But this could be just her problem.
