  • lmao ive never seen a cat eat a muse before

  • Cerebellar hypoplasia? okay, no problem. I thought for a second it was Cerebral Om Nom Neurosis.

  • haha u feed ur cat real mice, have u ever heard of cat food?

  • Does this brain disorder cause cats to inhale mice like a vacuum cleaner?

  • cool

  • damn dat cat was goin berserk

  • is she still alive, cuz if she is give her a scratch for me

  • She is still alive and well, and she loves getting scratches and attention. :-)

  • 0:01 - 0:10 LOL ...how long that cat didnt eat?

  • She *always* acts like that around food. It doesn't matter if it has been 10 seconds or 10 hours - she will flip out every time. She looooooves food! :-)

  • @coody94 3 months

  • Darn it, I only hit the "Post" button once! Apologies for the triple-tap below.

  • Wow, that cat FLIPPED (semi-literally! - sorry, CH joke) as you were about to give her her mouse.

  • Wow, that cat FLIPPED (semi-literally! - sorry, CH joke) as you were about to give her her mouse.

  • aw. kitty is NOM NOM NOM MOUSEY.

    adorable.

  • It´s true but only in nature-home cats aren´t natural predators-in nature cats must to catch mouse

  • OM NOM NOM NOM

  • Fast and efficient eater, once you're past the "my mouse! My mouse! Gimme my mouse!" moments. I love how she licks her lips & then checks the bowl as if to say "Any more in here?"

  • Cats are predators, you know. And the cat cannot help that she has brain damage. It looks as though she is well-loved.

  • im sory but the begining was fucknig hilarious LOL!!

  • hey (potato) i have (tomato) 2 mice (1000000) i like (onion) no poo bye

  • Mice are friends huh? Only that they're responsible for some of history's largest economic disasters and worst plagues, including assisting the spread of the Black Death.

  • where is the blood?

  • this cat is my friend!!

    (i hate the mice)

  • wow i look like i just randomly tweek out... my post under this is a reply to some1 on an earlier page adorable cat btw... fortunate as well ^^

  • I FEEL SORRY FOR THE MOUSE. BUT THATS life:(

  • I agree with delaglu she is, u's seem like great people :)

  • Estoy totalmente enternecido....

  • Aw, I love it ! What a great video ! She's so pretty ! She's also lucky to have you ! I see what you mean - she sure ate it fast ! I also love to see how excited raw-fed animals get about their food ! My dog loves his raw foods too ! :)

  • She's just beautiful. I'm in love!! Wish there was more people like you out there to take on special needs animals, cos they deserve every chance too!! :-)

  • Do cats normally act like that when they have cerebellar hypoplasia? Because cats that I've seen with it don't...or was that just cause she was being fed?

  • Well, she does get awfully excited when she gets fed! She looooves her food! But she is also a moderately to severely affected cat. Most cats with her condition are less affected and have better coordination. When Zephyra is not excited, she is able to walk without falling over too much - it's not graceful at all, but it is walking.

  • @bpunch is the cat still alive and well?

  • @comanderkuddles

Yes, she is still doing well - she is five years old now. She is still as obsessed with her food as ever and still a riot to watch.

  • She has Brain Damage? I didn't know that! Poor kitty!

  • She was born that way - it is a result of her mother becoming infected with the panleukopenia virus (feline distemper) while pregnant. She has improved greatly and will always have trouble with coordination, but she is happy and in no pain.

  • I had never heard of this form of brain damage before. Zephyra is so fortunate to have a mommie and daddy who love her enough to supply her with the natural food she needs! And I know that having her blesses your lives.

  • Zephyra is a cat. Unless she was raised on kibble, she sure won't need to be "forced" to eat a mouse! She'll eat a live mouse, a dead mouse, even a roadkill mouse. That's what cats evolved to eat. As bpunch says in the blurb, "Zephyra is a raw-fed cat." That means she eats raw chicken, raw fish, raw mouse . . .

  • did u even watch the video??? they had to hold the cat back... the second it could it grabbed the mouse... its not horrible at all, get a life... and a clue couldn't hurt either...

  • So you've never heard of cats eating mice before?

  • She (not "it") looked like she was very happy to eat the mouse, which is a cat's natural prey.

  • She is a beauty cat... and fortune was with her staying by your side.

    Keep it on...! :)

  • she was mad before eating the mouse!

  • Aww, poor little girl. She's so cute... And she's so lucky to have wonderful parents like you! Not only do you feed her well (raw diet) but just the fact that you would take care of such a special kitty is so wonderful of you! =)

  • Shes adorable! I love these *special* kitties. Maybe you should give her bigger mice though! hahaha

    cheers!

  • AWW BUT SHES A CUTE CAT

    XX

  • was the mouse alive when she ate it? she freaked out!

  • The mouse was already dead - they're sold frozen at pet supply stores as food for snakes. She has probably eaten live mice as she was a feral cat originally, but I will not feed a live mouse to her because that would be unnecessarily cruel. She always acts that way when she is excited (and she really gets excited about food) because her brain damage affects her ability to control her movements.
