Does anybody notice that some of the Elves are women? While making this part of the film, there were only about 50 Orcs, and the others are all CGI made or they use the same extras but they changed the make-up and helmets to pose as other Orcs. I like Legolas' character, he's so cool! I wanna learn archering, maybe I can fight like him one day... only, we don't use these kinds of weapons nowadays, do we? :(

Actually if you look closely in Minas Tirith, the Gondorian soldiers do pretty well. Like they beat back the siege towers for an entire day till nightfull when the gate was smashed down. And even when the trolls and orcs poured through, the soldiers held their line in the courtyard if you look carefully at the last bit of that scene. And its only by the next morning that they've lost a lot of men and levels in the city. So they held out for 1.5 days with no sleep or eating.

The rohhirim archers load at 2:58, the old guy shoots at 3:21, the rest start shooting at 4:22!!! Now why the silly king doesn't order 2 fire then, instead of waiting for the elves to open fire when his guys are higher, and, considering that the old guy killed one that easy, they shoulda killed about 200 be4 the orcs coulde ven move 5 feet. The book is very hasty in the whole Theoden/Helm's Deep scenario, while the movie is slower. It's just amazing the difference.
