At this time the bios does not support vista or win7 but there are alot of people on the forum working on resolving that problem.

i cant find any tutorials on how to install xp. can you just connect usb dvd with xp boot cd? or is it much more complicated? thanks

Yes, the will need a usb 2.0 hub, usb  cd/dvd rom, usb keyboard, usb mouse, usb jump drive , and a copy of windows xp sp3. Have you been to the forum and looked at Mindwipe?

for now the reports are comeing up with about 30-45 min :-( with the OEM battery and 1-1.5 hrs with the extended battery. But there is work being done on modding the OEM battery as well as using an external battery pack

have you gotten the built in GPS chip to work with any Windows GPS programs?

Yes, the gps comes up as com2 in windows and so fare works with any gps program. All this info is in the forum.

Backing up your os is done ether through ubuntu live cd and the DD command, Or through Acronis True Image 2010. I recomend purchasing (Acronis True Image 2010), its alot easier if your not used to linux and its works great. Now, as for dual boot we are still working on that in the forum.

to get the resolution right you can select the 800 by 480 32 bit in the graphics properties menu you can look for list of modes and find the right one.

i also tried ubuntu mid its not working well because of the gma 500 driver for linux but it seems the red flag linux on this device is doing it all with a fine tweaked software render.

I've used a Hawking HWUN3 Hi-Gain Wireless-N USB Adapter . I'm also shure that is will support and xp supported usb wifi device while the the MiND is running windows xp.

It sounds like a problem with your xp cd. have you tried hitting F2 on boot-up and see what the bios says? Visit the forum and post your questions to help others.

i get n error when trying to boot cd it tells me something about a ntldr file is missing any suggestions please help
