Story wise, this is easily my favorite Final Fantasy. I really like how many surprises there are over the course of the game, and honestly, I'd have to say Laguna is one of my favorite characters in anything ever. Him rescuing Ellone from Odine and his part here at the ending make me tear up every time. He goes through so much and manages to keep that positive attitude. Also, gotta love a guy who's funny, a little awkward, and good with kids! :D

This game was honestly amazing, and I'm glad everything ended all right... I'm also really glad that Laguna and Reine ended up together and that Ellone, Kiros and Ward were okay too. x]

The only bad thing I could say about this game was the magic/junction system :/

the trick is, put all your best magic and GFs on your top 3 characters. then, when ultimecia randomly summons your characters, kill your weakest characters. ultimecia will summon a replacement. keep doing this until you get the party you want, then triple cast shell, aura and haste on your party. kick ultimecia's pathetic ass. as for griever, spam limit breaks and recover. i didn't have a problem with ultimecia, except, in her final form, she cast ultima right after hell's judgement. bad luck.

it's not very clear but the hints point to Laguna being the father of Squall. I think that it's told somewhere in the game that Rayne had a boy, and the fact that Rayne was closer to squall than to the others childs point to her knowing him better, perhaps beacuse of she wanting to take his mother's place.

Also, the moombas mistook Squall for Laguna, some resemblance??..in fact it appears that the Moombas identify people by the scent or taste of their blood, and they did this with Laguna.
