@polakoelloko I used to play both brands before getting signed. I only play Paiste since last year (and I believe I'm gonna play Paiste until I die). This video was filmed a few weeks before getting endorse by PAISTE. It's a long story why I played Zildjian on my dvd.

@xanadu4463 I used to play Paiste or Zildjian all the time since I wasn't endorse by any cymbal company. The only reason I played Zildjian cymbals on my dvd is because they were smart enough to put right away a full set of zildjian cymbals to record my drum dvd and jazz album. Which was the mistake of my life cause it's not helping my career (just check the question you asked me). Now I understand how it works. Once it's on video and a good one there's not coming back. Smart guys!!

How did you get the endorsement? Did they contacted you if you would like to endorse Paiste? Own do you prefer Paiste over Zildjian? What I actually try to say is could you choose to endorse Paiste or choose to endorse Zildjian.

@xanadu4463 well I try support my endorsements as much as I can, so I make sure I always play Paiste, Ddrums and all the brands who support me no matter what. About how I got endorsed by them, I would say that happened after working really hard for so many years and I definitely prefer Paiste cymbals, they sound amazing. I really believe I will be playing paiste until I die.

also the thinks I play on this video for me were not that easy to learn. Maybe you have more talent than me but to play cascara, claves and stuff like that took me years of practice and I still don't dominate the rhythms the way I want to.

@samiparisis not sure what you mean with more creative. But I like playing what the songs need not jamming all around all the time. I know when it comes this thing of playing covers drummers attend to overplay all over all the time to me it's as easy as you play what you think the song needs. sounds cool, very short samples / clips though. Not into "buzz" artists or bands. Cant really tell from these short examples, it sounds good, but ALOT of guys out there (and gals) can pull this off as well. From this and the myspace I dont see where all the hype is coming from... ? Its not bad, but whats with the buzz? Again, sounds good but nothing out of the ordinary. For this style Id rather listen to weckl - age/race/etc dont matter to me, only talent does.
