because her doctor gave her a ultimatium if she didn't scream the right way, there wouldn't be flyleaf anymore.

She used to scream to be loud and brutal, now she screams the proper way that isn't going to shred her vocal chords anymore

That kind of scream is called "pig squealing". She's been doing it a lot lately, so i'm guessing that it's easier for her than all the fry screams and inhales that we usually hear her doing. Interesting.

It's called screaming over the pencil. Check the Zen of Screaming. It's easier and healthier then inhales, I do it, 90% of screamers do it these days. SUPER easy and you have massive control. ALSO it takes NO breath.
