When I played Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, it feels like you're in the Masquerade Party that involves wearing different masks to solve puzzles, helping people, and fighting enemies.
Unlike Ganondorf who wants to rule Hyrule, Skull Kid with the Majora's mask want to make twisted pranks into chaos and sending the moon to destory Termina.
I know it's just a song... but this song is kind of warming, but on the other side you feel dark and cold.... and btw you shouldn't have done that lol

@Johnny3tears4eva Same here, I am able to play a couple of others too, though. But those are the first ones, and I never really started with them. But which Zelda game is your least one? Because Majora's Mask is probably my 4th of the ones I played. I like all of them, but Majora's Mask wasn't my favourite.

I beat Twilight Princess 4-5 times, Wind Waker 4 times, Ocarina of Time 2-3 times and Majora's Mask just once. But I mostly quit when having to do something boring, like searching the Triforce or giving the Redeads what they want.

@SSiam92 yeah, that you can play as a goran or zora is just epic! but in OoT are the villeges bether constructed like kakariko village and the feeling of a young link, and the world after if he's older, that the world is almost devisated by ganadorf is really great, but the feeling i get with majora's maks is to not to discribe in words
@eljosso It has nothing to do with the gameplay for me, it is simply the story was amazing. While Orcarina of time was also amazing, Majors Mask was simply better.

does anyone know what happened to the sheikah in oot? I do. The shadow temple was built as a torture death prison for them. they were all killed by genocide

In Twilight Princess One Shieka was alive...They all escaped the death that you claim happened in the Shadow Temple...They escaped to the "Hidden Village" They then passed down traditions and stuff...They didnt die...They ESCAPED DEATH ! And they couldnt be killed in the Shadow Temple cause after Bongo Bongo was killed the Temple was sealed off to prevent future things !

It's not quite the same as Saria's song. Having learned to play both by ear on the piano, I can tell you that the beginning part is the same, but it's a little different in the end.

@yanoit15 actually it does matter, because Tatl, tael, and Navi all make 3 distinct sounds. And the one sound im talking about IS Navi's and is only heard ONCE in the game

Because, it takes place months after OoT, which if you remember, Navi leaves him in the temple of time. Navi was Link's only companion/friend. Also, he doesnt have Saria anymore because she's a sage.
Look up the beginning cutscenes to Majora's Mask, its clearly Navi he's searching for. If he REALLY was looking for the skull kid, he would've entered the lost woods, make the first left, and play Saria's Song, haha, he's always there

Listening to this, you must remember that no matter what Link did.....he did fail Termina..... All those times he played the song of time, the land was doomed, only he was spared.....He knew this....
even when he succeeded, he never did get to Navi.....instead, he lost his soul in the lost woods, to become a Stalfos, known to us as the Hero's Shade. This is why the shade as so many regrets
@AnthoFlex That's just stupid. It's not like the timeline he leaves when he goes back in time goes on without him. It crumbles and gets anihalated by the space-time continium (spelled right?) instantly. Then the timeline just repeats slightly differently. No one suffers really.

@MrFloppyFish That's actually not true. Atleast not in Zelda series. Wind Waker is in the timeline when he travels back. When ganondorf takes over the world the gods flooded all land to prevent ganondorf. You can actually read it in the begining og Wind Waker.
Actually, Twilight Princess comes from the timeline in which he was sent back. Wind Waker is after the other half of it. Link is sent back to the past, and they manage to stop Ganondorf before Link even needs to travel to the future by imprisoning him in the Twilight Realm. This created a split in time. In one, Ganon is stopped early. In the other, Link never returns after traveling to the future. Thus, Ganondorf rules Hyrule, casting his shadow, and the Goddesses flood the land.

@AnthoFlex Like I said, I played ALL of them. Zelda is my favorite series, at least since they started for the Nintendo 64. I remember getting all the skills, however I never came to that conclusion... Cant really argue it, it makes sense in a way, and if it is the case thats beyond fucked up. Youd figure the triforce would protect him or something.... Besides....he wast the best link. They really need to make a sequel to Majoras mask.

@PINKluvr01 Can you tell me how this happened ? Cause i guarantee they werent killed ! In Twilight Princess One Shieka was alive...They all escaped the death that you claim happened in the Shadow Temple...They escaped to the "Hidden Village" They then passed down traditions and stuff...They didnt die...They ESCAPED DEATH ! And they couldnt be killed in the Shadow Temple cause after Bongo Bongo was killed the Temple was sealed off to prevent future things !

@PINKluvr01 Anyways.....When Ganon returned he attempted to un-seal the Shadow Temple to do what you said had happened ! The Sheikah escaped from him and went to the hidden village ! Only a few were actually killed off....So your partially right...About the torture prison....The reason only one Shiekah was alive was cause the rest died of old age...She was alive cause she was waiting for the hero....Well thats the true timeline ...sooooo yea

It's not quite the same as Saria's song. Having learned to play both by ear on the piano, I can tell you that the beginning part is the same, but it's a little different in the end.

@yanoit15 actually it does matter, because Tatl, tael, and Navi all make 3 distinct sounds. And the one sound im talking about IS Navi's and is only heard ONCE in the game

Not to mention the Skull kid in OoT and Majora's mask are the same skull kid. (you find out in the ending of MM)

Because, it takes place months after OoT, which if you remember, Navi leaves him in the temple of time. Navi was Link's only companion/friend. Also, he doesnt have Saria anymore because she's a sage.
Look up the beginning cutscenes to Majora's Mask, its clearly Navi he's searching for. If he REALLY was looking for the skull kid, he would've entered the lost woods, make the first left, and play Saria's Song, haha, he's always there

Would be hilarious if we did find out it was indeed the skull kid, but like i said, i doubt it, very highly.

here is a big debate in the loz world: wether link was looking for navi as the "lost friend" or what. i beleive it wasnt navi but skull kid. even tho he had a small part in oot hes the/1 of the main characters so it only makes sence that he is it. but we will never know...unless nintendo tells us ther mystery will conitue on forever..like majoras mask it will never end..until the right thing is done..

@yanoit15 In the beginning of Majora's Mask it says, "He embarked on a journey, a secret and personal journey.A journey in search of a beloved and invaluable friend." Then it goes onto say he and the friend parted ways after he fufilled his destiny.
If that isn't proof enough, after the last line is said, you hear Navi's noise for the only time in the whole game

Listening to this, you must remember that no matter what Link did.....he did fail Termina..... All those times he played the song of time, the land was doomed, only he was spared.....He knew this....
even when he succeeded, he never did get to Navi.....instead, he lost his soul in the lost woods, to become a Stalfos, known to us as the Hero's Shade. This is why the shade as so many regrets

@AnthoFlex That's just stupid. It's not like the timeline he leaves when he goes back in time goes on without him. It crumbles and gets anihalated by the space-time continium (spelled right?) instantly. Then the timeline just repeats slightly differently. No one suffers really.

@MrFloppyFish That's actually not true. Atleast not in Zelda series. Wind Waker is in the timeline when he travels back. When ganondorf takes over the world the gods flooded all land to prevent ganondorf. You can actually read it in the begining og Wind Waker.

Actually, Twilight Princess comes from the timeline in which he was sent back. Wind Waker is after the other half of it. Link is sent back to the past, and they manage to stop Ganondorf before Link even needs to travel to the future by imprisoning him in the Twilight Realm. This created a split in time. In one, Ganon is stopped early. In the other, Link never returns after traveling to the future. Thus, Ganondorf rules Hyrule, casting his shadow, and the Goddesses flood the land.

@AnthoFlex Like I said, I played ALL of them. Zelda is my favorite series, at least since they started for the Nintendo 64. I remember getting all the skills, however I never came to that conclusion... Cant really argue it, it makes sense in a way, and if it is the case thats beyond fucked up. Youd figure the triforce would protect him or something.... Besides....he wast the best link. They really need to make a sequel to Majoras mask.
