Hey, I'm new to Marilyn Manson music (love him now, of course). Do you have any suggestions of his songs that are really fucking creepy and would be good on a Halloween playlist? Specifically, in a swamp light only by moonlight and torches. No, I am not kidding. That's wher I'm working for Halloween.
it sounds like they just eliminated the frequencies of his voice because i still hearing some background noise that sounds like some part of his singing
@moshkiller1 I doubt it. Evidence, for instance, is different to the album version musically and the title track still has Manson's voice during the bridge, whereas a basic frequency sweep would remove it. Unless I misread and you're saying I edited the voice out, which is not the case as these are from an official instrumental promo for circulation to tv/movie companies.
@wiccanring777 It doesn't work. These are the instrumental promos. I think a program like that is basically channel isolating, but Manson's vocals aren't mixed with vox down one channel and music down the other, plus every song on this particular album features a reverb technique, in part because Manson used an old 50s ribbon microphone, and also because of a mixing program called Audio Technia. So, in short, you can't just cancel out the voice audio on Manson's past two records.
