  • Get the fuck out of here the Claremont Tigers. I would of heard about it on the news if some one from America was playing in the WAFA. Shit talker. Too bad in American Football you a bunch of protective equipment soft. Play with out a Helmet & Pads, like every other Football contact sport in the world

  • anyone else think that a documentary should be made for AFL vs NFL to prove to all the americans that aussie rules is the most brutal sport in the world and is so much more skill, endurance, strength, brain power and balls to play.. no padding, no helmets, you see people get concusions and come back on in the same game, players dislocate shoulders and just get it strapped and come back on.. why dont you americans see that Aussie rules is tougher than NFL??

  • Afl hits are worse. no padding and you get kneed/shouldered/forearmed in the face.

  • The hits between AFL and NFL are pretty much the same except AFL we're not cushioned by padding and we have to get up after and play on.

    Grow a pair America.

  • @resolve0914 i live in australia, i play both, AFL is eeeeaaasy shit, you get sent off for trying to hurt someone in the tiniest way, you obviously havent tried playing gridiron because the helmets are definitely more a weapon than protection. grow a pair dickmunch

  • @Mitchio7 Sent OFF? bwahahaha what are you playing under 9's?

  • @BaldursGate1616 im 15, playing for my school, i didnt know the sport was so pussy, so i clotheslined someone, and the ref wrote my name down and made my coach sub me, then i speared someone and got suspended for 3 weeks. i play gridiron and none of this is illegal, and the best part is you can put your 15 kilo fucking hard helmet into someone and fuck them up in a light tackle

  • @Mitchio7 Who did you play for? sounds like bullshit to me.

  • @AustOpinion55 i live in perth, i played for swanbourne, then the claremont tigers. i couldnt stand it coz i kept getting in trouble for these stupid rules, so i play gridiron coz pretty much the only thing you cant do is pull their facemask coz it can break their neck. i also played afl for my school, christ church grammar school.

  • so who knew that the first clip on this video was an aussie rules player coming to the NFL he got LIT UP

  • @Nickkieg6 he got cheap shotted from behind and he got right up probably would have kept playing but in nfl you dont do much other than kick if your a kicker

  • @KeARtLMoPAJFA yup all he could become in NFL is a Punter not a kicker difference... and there the worst athletes on the whole team

  • @Nickkieg6 either way he gets payed millions to do jack shit as do most players

  • @KeARtLMoPAJFA haha great point

  • @KeARtLMoPAJFA There has never been one player from the NFL cross over to the AFL. And that's because every player on a NFL team is a fat cunt, apart form 3 players.

And even those players it would be very difficult to cross over. They would have to train for a couple years & even then it would be very hard.

  • @Nickkieg6 Okay so Rocca got done by a cheap shot from behind and got right back up. Well that just proves how tough NFL is doesn't it........ Anybody can go floor another player from behind but it just makes them a cheap little shit without the confidence to do it face to face. And just to put things into perspective, Rocca was by no means anywhere near the fittest, strongest or best player in the AFL. When he left for the US, he was also playing for a mediocre side

  • @mdr279 Not really, many guys in the nfl have gotten up after being blindsided like that and others havent. I really like rocca he was cool. But you cant question the amount of injuries that have been caused in the nfl. Not saying there arent any in afl, but the toughness of the afl isnt on question here.

  • @mdr279 the nfl players take much bigger hits, and always hold onto the football, the afl hits are terrible, i play gridiron in australia, and our team had 60 players coming down pre-season to play for the one team (Claremont Jets) and after the first game, guess how many stayed? 15, yes 60 went to 15 after one game, just because they could not handle the contact. the amount of people that watch this game on tv or watch big hits thinking its not that rough, you'd be suprised

  • Comment removed

  • @AFFTL oi what are the rules for tackling? no tripping, above the waist, below the shoulders, cant lay a finger on their back, cant spear, etc. for gridiron? you cant grab their facemask, just because it is unfair and could break their neck. ill give you an example, the game tries to protect the quarterback as much as possible, but Tony Romo broke his clavicle (collarbone) out for the rest of the season, this season, he came back, broke his ribs, but he missed one play and kept going..

  • @Mitchio7 You can't tackled below the Waist & above the Shoulders. You can Spear Tackle, but when you tackle you can't fall on your opponents back when he hits the ground.

American Football hits are not bigger than Australian Football & we don't have Padding & a Helmet to protect our selves.

People have died playing Australian Football, its common to get broken Ribs & Bones & other bad injures playing Australian Football.

  • @Mitchio7 Mark Yeats Bump on Dermott Brereton in the 1989 AFL Grand final. It tore a hole in his Kidney, it broke 2 of his Ribs, he had internal bleeding & he was concussed. He didn't go off & he played the rest of the game & kicked 3 Goals.

Also in the same game Robert Dippeodemnico got Bumped & it punchierd his Lung. He didn't go off & played the rest of the game. There are dangerous injuries all the time in Australian Football. Its a hard hitting, rough, dangerous sport.

  • @Mitchio7 ye but when afl player get hit they have nothing to get protected with not even a "cup" so if you thing tht NFL is more manly than AFL then u are a fuckwit cos i dnt see NFL player getting up as quick as AFL players wen they et hit and even they have padding for protection most of them take it up the asshole in the showers so my opinion is tht america need to soak it up and grow a pair

  • @Mitchio7 good on Tony Romo AFL players have played with broken ribs, broken foot, etc michael barlow tried to stand up after he broke his leg now that's tough

  • @Mitchio7 The object in Australian Football is to get rid of the ball. If you get tackled you want to dispose of the ball or its ''Holding the ball''.

  • the NFL ones look sicker and look like they hurt more but you have to remember they wear pads and there is a lot more running involved in AFL so try getting up and running out an AFL game after say a hit like @ 0:53

  • this doesnt even have all the tough hits from afl -.-

  • @MaddoBOY6109 Actually, those are as tough as Australian Football hits get.

On the other hand, why all the shitty NFL hits?

  • @shiron236 aha u dont know shit all about footy. thos arent the toughest. NFL is a gay sport, why call it american football? you mainly throw the ball anyway

  • Holy Crap, that guy went flying at 0:17 :)

  • Rugby, NFL or AFL it doesnt matter everyone we are all alike just look at the bright side guys...at least its not soccer

  • Who cares if NFL players play with armor and pads what's it to you anyway?

  • @Dimitri0809 Its irritating when people say its harder & tougher than Australian Football. Its a tough sport, but its not harder or tougher than Australian Football.

  • everyone who has commented about how much AFL is better than NFL has put the aussie code to shame.....both sports are hard hitting.....the only reason why NFL hits are bigger is because of the pads they wear....they are less afraid of smashing into each other at extreme speeds, id like to see someone without the pads not get injured by the hits the NFL players do.

oh and i follow AFL.......GO GEELONG 2011 PREMIERS!

  • hahaha mad clip, NHL & AFL are both epic fucking games xD

  • nice clip that video put shivers up my spine....

um is the only reason NFL guys do so many flips and shit because theyre being grabbed around the neck? cos thats what it looks like. 20 years ago, now thats when footy was at its prime. haha that shit was fucked :D

  • The NFL are Pussy's they Ware PADS and HELMETS unlike us AUSSIE'S WE DON'T

  • @5169GTA Then you go and try to play American football without pads and helmets, see how long you last before breaking a bone or your neck. American football is about explosive plays over seconds, Australian football is about endurance and kicking, therefore pads not needed. Also, learn to grammar, please.

  • @shihadrocks you dont know anything about AFL

  • @MaddoBOY6109 Oh I don't, do I? I bet I know faaaaaaaar more about the game than you do. Only been watching it and playing it MY WHOLE LIFE

  • AFL is way better, NRL need pads and helmets

  • @MaddoBOY6109 Dont you mean NFL needs pads in NRL no1 wears pads Maybe scrumcaps thts about it....

  • @GamerBoiiZ what about shoulder pads

  • @jarrod1685 Naaa noone weres them at older age maybe for junior

  • @jarrod1685 NRL is national RUGBY league, did u get mixed up with the name??

  • @GamerBoiiZ yeah i did

  • Run? Fuck that I'm a 'MERICAN... Get me some oxygen, punt team get out there

  • australians win we aint pussys and were padding

  • whos got padding and protection, and who doesnt? theres your answer for the tougher one.

  • Fencing BITCHES!!

  • afl =best sport on the planet

  • @asdfasdfasdfasdfa978 go fuck yourself mate an if ur australian u should be ashamed

  • Both are excellent sports, both require different skill sets. As for the dispute over the "skill level" needed in either sport, or rugby for that matter (whether it be league or union), it is stupid to say that one sport requires more "skill" than the other. If we are truly going to discuss skill, then no one, and i mean no one, comes to close to soccer players. Watch what Messi, C.Ronaldo, Drogba, Modric and Xavi do with the ball, it is astounding. As for strength, well, not so much :P

  • @asdfasdfasdfasdfa978 What are you, 12? Grow up mate

  • @asdfasdfasdfasdfa978 Singlet heroes? lmfao. Typical statement from a rugby meathead.

  • @asdfasdfasdfasdfa978 your a joke cunt, rugby is a horrible sport just a bunch of fuckin meatheads trying to drop each other..afl requires at least some skill and something other than being able to tackle a cunt..fuck head

  • FUCK AFL

  • @thekunts274 fuck u

  • @thekunts274 fuck you

  • i'll admit it, i dont know a thing about aussie football. But i know one thing, the players are small and skinny. There are some good licks on here from the afl but they are basically running into each other with their forearms/elbows.In this video you see nfl players actually form tackling as well as body checking.imagine getting cleaned from a 6'5" 290lb D-tackle. Bottom line;no matter how many forearms you throw, nfl players are BIGGER and hit HARDER!

  • @Nero49er the average height and weight for an afl player is 6'2" and 200lbs. thats average, there are some that are 7' 260lbs and some small forwards 5'8" 180lbs. afl players bump with the hip and shoulder so that all of their weight goes into the hit. nfl has bigger yet slower bodies, but afl has the more bone jarring hits because there is no padding.

  • @Nero49er they only hit harder because they wear padding.

  • wats worse? getting hit the helmet with a padded elbow, or getting hit in face with an elbow, those nfl guys should try walking on an afl field, theyd die after a quarter

  • Ok, i really don't know who the hell australians think they are but there is absolutely no way the AFL is a tougher league to play in than the NFL. Guys in the NFL are not only twice the size of those in the AFL, but they're also twice as fast. There are pads for a reason in the NFL.

The only time you see people from the AFL playing in the NFL is to simply kick a ball. There are a high number of guys from the NFL that could walk onto an AFL team and dominate the entire league from day 1.

  • @JAH8686 this must be one of the dumbest comments of all time.

  • @JAH8686 NFL players would not last a game in the AFL. You're talking about bulky men playing in a game with men who are in peak physical condition that are made to sprint, jump and kick over 50 metres while running. While there is no dispute that NFL players can create some big hits, they could not mark over a pack or keep up with the pace. Wait until one of them takes a hip and shoulder to the head from someone sprinting at full speed with no helmet to protect them. Lights out.

  • @JAH8686

You don't understand AFL. It is not a rugby-style game like NFL. search for "AFL 2010 Season Highlights"

NFL has bigger hits for sure, you can't tackle like that without padding or someone will die.

AFL is a game of endurance played over 2 hours of non-stop running and tackling, An NFL player could not dominate for 2 minutes without losing body mass. AFL guys play NFL when careers are over, NFL players don't play AFL, cant compare.

NFL guys are not twice as fast, period.

  • @JAH8686 you have to be kidding me.

  • Aussie Rules...the new rock n roll...no doubt about it.

Although any player who purposefully polaxes a player going for the ball, should get 8 weeks...automatic......cowardly in the extreme...think that prick Gellong's Gordon Bruns....but 2 players who collide with eyes for the ball is a completely different matter.

As for NFL, it is a poorly designed, 19th century game (like rugby) played by some amazing athletes, who would walk into any AFL team e.g. most quarterbacks, running backs

  • NFL - Soft. Like their troops. Aussies are harder which ever way you look at it.

  • i honestly don't see much difference in the tackling. minus the padding :D

  • Americans need to stop taking Australians so seriously, you aren't going to win any argument with us because we're stubborn, coarse, we don't take anything that we or you say seriously, and we love to piss you off. Obviously there's no better way of doing that than keyboard wars.

Plus Aussie Rules is the best sport that has ever existed that doesn't involve hacking of limbs.

  • @TheGreatSam1992 lmao +1

  • NFL tackles and AFL hits you in the head with elbows and forearms.

  • Alright, I enjoy watching Gridion but I'm an AFL person myself. One of the reasons: When a guy in the AFL gets hit or knocked out, we don't stop play.

  • how is afl weaker? the only difference in the hits is afl has no helmets and padding lol weak as piss americans

  • wow afl isweak

  • @migygwell Yeah it's weak because we wear padding and helmets...

  • More body on body hits in the AFL. Nobody is going to attack another player with the whole force of their upper body without head protection.

AFL players come in all shapes and sizes, the biggest and quickest could survive in the NFL with some more bulk. Endurance wise NFL players wouldn't last more than one quarter in a game of Aussie rules at the highest level.

  • @89Djm

Who cares about whether players run really fast without protective padding it's not gonna look fast when every player is running at a consistent rate anyway..

Besides the hits in gridiron are way harder than AFL.

  • why don't we compare Afl to Nrl ? number 1 game in Oz is what ? Nrl is for people with an i.q. of single figures! look at the idiots who play it! How bout u defecate in a hallway like ur heros, 4ckedhero! lol! idiot!

  • @themightyQ77

    1, you mean NFL.

2, Most NFL players get a higher learning degree or attend higher learning, not true in the AFL, Most players join at 18.

    3, Spell heroes correctly.

    4. I bet you have no clue what IQ is, you probably think its just a measure of overall intelligence, IQ is a quotient of age and intelligence level

    5. GO CARLTON BLUES GO, GO SEATTLE SEAHAWKS GO!

  • Comment removed

  • @themightyQ77 AFL is embarrassing when comparing it to gridiron. You have to make a comparison between Australia's hard sports- rugby or league footy not AFL to find any comparisons. BTW I'm pretty sure cricket is Australia's number one game

  • why dont we compare rugby league to NFL ... league is Australia hard game .. AFL is for fucking pussys and an embarrassment to our country

  • @4ckedhero

u are clearly from parramatta, as you are uneducated in the most basic form of knowledge.

  • @4ckedhero Someone is getting a bit defensive. You say AFL is for pussies because you know that it is an amazing game like no other. Aussie rules fans dont have to go around hating on NRL cos they know that everyone knows it is better

  • keep in mind who is wearing padding and halmets ;)

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • the aussies are good they beat ireland in international rules

  • AUSSIES- built strong, no padding..... NFL- strong..... when wearing padding.

  • An exageration to say the least about Dying, my friend. Don't bring Million Dollar investments into this argument, they were wearing pads in the 50's, and they sure as shit weren't earning an 8th of what these pussies now days scab off their employers. Sorry but this game has no place considering itself in the same realm of Hard hitting sports. Thanks for participating.

  • @jaminim i dont think you understand how much faster nfl players hit which makes a huge ass differance. with no pads players would definatly die from head trama. players are getting concussions all the time with helmets. a player like 3 weeks ago was paralyzed from the neck down for life and that was with pads. in an interview sav rocca a former afl player said the first time he was hit in the nfl he didnt think he had ever been hit so hard and was thankful to be ok.

  • Whats the point playing a contact sport if your only going to put Pads on, Ladies.

You can read alot about a Nation by the Sport they play.

Lose the Pads gain the respect.

Until then, keep playing that Bullshit amongst yourselves.

    Wankers.

  • @jaminim are u kidding people would be dieing every week in the nfl if there were no pads. the players are way bigger and hit faster and harder.theres a good reason for wearing pads considering american football players are million dollar investments, unlike rugby players.

  • @steven1lee Yo big fella, I think we both have bad arguments cos we've been brought up yo follow different sports. I appreciate the tactics of NFL but prefer watching a sport that is free flowing and requires all players to have all round skills. I accept your criticism of me talking about tackling, but at the same time Sav Rocca was far from the best AFL players... Lets just agree to disagree hehe

  • @BarcaNo9 mate you could not be more spot on

  • @steven1lee Are u serious? AFL players are amongst the fittest people on earth running up to 20km without stopping every play. Have you seen the size of most AFL players- they are massive and all muscle. I think this video proves otherwise that NFL players hit harder, all the hits seemed pretty even to me except some were without pads haha

  • @mdr279 i know i never said nfl players have more stamina but the average reciever or running back in the nfl is faster than the average afl player.. and yea afl players look big when playing next to other afl players but you really see the differance when an afl player is next to an nfl player. if you look at sav rocca a former afl player now nfl player he's tiny..watch the youtube video "sav rocca welcome to the nfl" he looks pretty small....

  • @steven1lee Sav Rocca was by no means the biggest in the AFL. Yeh I've seen that, it's a cheap shot and I can assure there are plenty of hits like that in the AFL. Notice Rocca got right back up? The average AFL player is faster than the average NFL player without a doubt. The commentator goes "Welcome to the NFL, a little different to aussie football", wtf wud he know? Watch sav rocca hit, not that it is huge, but the other bloke goes nowhere. check out this youtube.com/watch?v=l5qVLJEOTpo

  • @mdr279 i tried that video link and it didnt work..idk if you live in a different area or something cuz that might be why.

  • @steven1lee Yeh world wide web before the link, youtube doesn't allow links for some reason.

  • @mdr279 So yeh put three w's and a dot. Youtube won't even let me write three w's in a row for some fucked reason.

  • @steven1lee Sorry the link isn't working for me either, try this.

    youtube.com/watch?v=l5qVLJEOTpo&feature=related

This guy's a beast, bare in mind it's slowed down a bit as well.

  • @steven1lee Sorry, don't know why links aren't working. Copy and paste this into youtube and click on the first video- Punches FLy West Coast Vs Sydney Barry Hall Brent Staker. This guy is a monster and the vid is slowed down a bit.

  • @mdr279 im not gunna lie that guy is a brick house..funny watchin the other players just strait bounce off him..lol

  • @steven1lee Yeh he is massive, did u also see the guy at the end try to approach him... no chance. I wud love seeing him in the NFL cos he loves smashing cunts haha. Ok how about we just accept the two sports have their differences but despite this they are both very tough and manly haha.

  • @mdr279 lol yea i agree there both differant from each other and tough...haha

  • @mdr279 hits in the nfl are alot different. they do hit with alot more speed and power. you probly cant notice it but if a 250 pound guy that runs a 4.4 is running full speed and you are too its a seriously dangerous thing. pads are definatly nessesary. players are constantly getting concussions and longtime players are showing signs of permanent brain damage and thats all with pads. players health in the nfl is insanely important. idk why people bag on it so much.

  • @mdr279 im not rying to bag on the afl cuz they are two way differant sports

  • you think afl is soft then type in jordan lewis hit

he came back on as well later in the game

  • all this video proves is that afl hits are so much better then nfl ones

  • @wizzard400 have to agree with you there mate

  • AFL is pretty soft compaered to NFL and NFL and Rugby Union are slighty softer than Rugby League. There are hard hits in lots of sports, but there are more packed into 80 minutes of Rugby League than any other sport. AFL people usually have no idea about anything other than AFL, so I wouldn't waste too much time arguing with them.

  • texfan999 mate youve got no idea. an nfl ball is so hard to throw???? are you high? trust me kicking a football is sooo much harder than throwing a gridiron ball. we play gridiron at school over here and all of us can throw and weve had americans over here who try to kick a footy and make themselves look like dickheads

and you dont think we hit the ball hard? youve got no idea mate. come watch a game instead of watching it on youtube ya wanker!

  • i dont care about the padding and shit... but how much bigger are the NFL hits compared to the AFL hits.

  • AFL is a far superior sport. The speed, hand eye and fitness is unmatched in any other football code PERIOD! Or you NFL dudes should try rugby then. No padding there either.

  • lol herd at 1:00 cop that you girl

  • Afl is a tougher game then any other game because you never stop running

  • @Pie4menow shut up idiot afl players are weak skinny little pricks there not tough so if its the toughest sport coz they dont stop running then soccer is just as tough coz they dont stop running you dumbass

  • Comment removed

  • who gives a crap who is the most athletic? Sure they need to be reasonably fit and strong but thats only two components of what makes an AFL player. As for texfan999 claiming that vernon davis wouldnt be allowed on an afl field because he throw the players around like bags of crap, gimme a break. NFL players are so much more one dimensional. Afl players do more than execute one skill. Im not hating on NFL, the games are just completely different.

  • and as for your 0.45 BF statistic your obviously talking shit because if thats true than nick would probably be dead and if not not he wouldn't be able to play football so if your gonna lie try and make it believable

  • yeah he wouldn't be allowed on a afl field because the afl wouldn't let him he would throw them around like bags of crap they wouldn't even be able to bring him down there that weak and skinny and he is only one of many nfl players that can put up those sort of numbers and you cant even find one single afl player that can even come close

  • @texfan999 oh whoops vernon has 4.5% and rievoldt 3%. Throw em around like bags and he wouldn't be able to be brought down? With your logic, Vernon at 115kgs at a height of only 191cm, can run 3x100m sprints, lay a tackle run another 50m, receive a handball, run and bounce the ball 150m all within 3 minutes. With that he has has not been aerobically tested in entire professional and college career. Yes seems very likely he will be able to do it......dickhead.

  • @nabilion your an ignorant dickhead u still wont admit that afl players are crap athletes compared to nfl players ive showed you the stats but you still dont agree or maybe you do but cant admit it, and if nicks BF was so high and might wouldn't he be more ripped and cut up? hes hardly got abs he just looks like a tall lankly princess but thats not the point, the point is afl players cant compete with nfl players you've seen the stats get over it nfl wins by a long way

  • @texfan999 do you read what you and I write? NFL players are not aerobically tested. AFL, players are tested for physical strength, anaerobically and aerobically. UNDERSTAND, excessive strength does not matter. There are restrictions on how players can tackle in AFL. Yet a 75 kilo player at 170cm can tackle and bring down a 120kg, 211cm player. In NFL, you can pretty much tackle and hit anywhere which makes tackling and stopping a player's momemtum easier.

  • @nabilion excessive strength does matter when u need to bring down gigantic men who are strong and powerful, doesnt matter in afl coz there all weak and skinny they dont need to be strong to bring a guy down and there hits are soft as even ncaa college players are far better athletes than afl players the afl just cant compete with them

  • @texfan999 Weak and skinny hahah way to contradict yourself. Hester is 80kg he is a light weight fark can you be that stupid? Josh Hunt is 100kg at 185cm he has more meat on him than reggie bush. Sure NFL players are strong but they can't defy Newton's 2nd law of physics. Also did Vernon get tested for aerobic ability in the Combine, does he do a 5km run every training session. Does he run for more than 6 minutes a game. All nope.

  • @nabilion he might be 80 but he still benches and squats more than almost all afl players coz there so weak and how the fuk do u know nfl players cant run long distances coz thats all u got u keep saying they cant run as much well how bout some proof dipshit ive proved nfl players are much stronger there faster and they are better athletes, u havent porven anything coz u cant and how gives a fuk bout 5km run thats for skinny weak fuks like afl players jsut have a look at them there fukall

  • @texfan999 I just said they don't get tested aerobically that is proof enough. Your game is one one dimensional in that players don't get tested aerobically. If he could run that distance he would play on both offensive and defensive teams. Lol, so what if he benches or squats more. He is gonna get owned an AFL, 80 kilos can't shrug off 100 kilos of pure tackling strength. Why do you keep saying skinny? Josh Hunt has more meat on him than reggie bush. you are making yourself look like a dickhead

  • @nabilion your the dickhead youve got no proof that an afl player is as strong or as fast as any nfl player dumbass and hunt is the biggest afl player and hes still fukall and theres no way he could do any of the things nfl do and having them play on both off and def is the stupidest thing ive heard in a long time try comparing hunt to davis or the other few hundred nfl players that are as athletic as davis u cant win so stop making a fool of yourself u fuken idiot find me some proof dumbass

  • @texfan999 The amount of playing time NFL players have and the absence of cardiovascular training in weekly workouts and testing in the combine pretty much proves my point that they have no aerobic ability.

  • The most vilifying form of evidence that nfl players have no aerobic capacity and are inferior athletes overall is the game itself. It doesn't allow you to push to the limits.

Speed in an AFL game- Running 20m in a tight pack with 15 players around. Reversing momentum after a 100m sprint running the other way for 120m. After getting tackled to the ground running 60m to make one tackle then another 20 to receive a handball.

NFL speed- Running 100m in one direction- moving forward 20 m to tackle

  • @nabilion once again prooves nothing what so ever your just an idoit that cant come up with shit so u say this rubbish that proves nothing, all its doing is backing up what i said that there weak and skinny coz all your saying is they can run a long distance so fuken what so cant nfl players but afl players cant do anything else nfl players can uve seen the stats and u cant find a single afl player to match them coz u cant

  • @texfan999 Both are followed by 30secs to 6min breaks-AFL no breaks

Strength AFL- ability to wrestle the ball from control from 3 players while keeping feet. Jumping up in a pack of 5 players arms stretch to catch a ball 1 and half times bigger and heavier than an nfl ball. Bring down players 120kg in weight just from the hips on the run/close. Also putting on bumps with no padding meaning both players involved will experience pain. Also shepherding and blocking a player whilst on the run.

  • @nabilion find me an afl player that can run the hundred m in 10.4 secs and still weigh 250 pounds, bench 500, squat 700 and power clean 400 so shut up untill u get some proof dumbass, and when u do then reply coz all u got is aerobic rubbish when nfl players can run long distance nfl players are real athletes out the best athletes of both sports against each other and the afl will get demolished, btw the grand final will be crap as both teams are filled with girls

  • @texfan999 someone doesn't seem to get the message. As you saw from hester's how many times does hester run a full 100m with ball in hand. twice max. Excessive strength really isn't a factor. If you knew anything about physics even a 70kg guy could take down a 140kg person. Playing both off and def teams is stupid? So pushing yourself to limit is stupid as well? Ok i guess that is what you expect from a person who worships athletes who only for 6 minutes a game.

  • @nabilion y would they risk such a good player by putting him wear he doesnt belong which is on defence u dumb fuk theyve got better players who are just as fast to do the job on defence u fuking clown !!!! he gets injured whats the point you lose a valuble offensive weapon u fool any nfl fan knows that what u said is so fuken dumb and id like to see an afl player fighting with those 250 350 pound massive athletes when a fumble occurs hes get tossed around like crap the skinny prick

  • @nabilion your a fool nfl players are far better athletes than afl players texfan is right these guys are weak, nfl players are strong as fuk and way better in every aspect of athletics put the best nfl player up against the best afl player and the afl poof would get destroyed

  • @TheMilfhunter301 read above. 6 mins of play real tough.

  • @texfan999 If Vernon, get hits by a 98 kilo table he is going to go down. So imagine a 98 kilo person hitting him and pulling him he defs going down. Strength again is not everything technique is also a factor. But if you can't run the kms there is no way of bypassing that. Rievoldt, is not much behind in strength but Vernon basically is a no show when it comes to endurance. Rievoldt, does way more in an afl game than Vernon will do in an afl game. watch?v=QO34WHn3gDw

  • @texfan999 This is what Vernon is- an explosive runner, with elite upper body strength and low grade aerobic ability.

Rievoldt- Above average body strength, elite aerobic ability, and near elite sprinting and agility. Notice there aren't any weaknessess. Vernon would have no chance of playing soccer or basketball. There is a reason why he only plays 6 minutes a game.

  • @nabilion prove that he cant run a long distance i bet he can! all uve got is this aerobic ability thats not even one tenth of what it means to be an athlete it takes a lot more and afl players dont have that look at devin hester the guy could take a kick in in afl kik it to himself and just run to the other end kick a goal without been touched all hed need is a couple decent shephards and hed do the rest.....youtube.com/watch?v=c2SpdESsTXo

  • @texfan999 if that doenst work just type anytime devin hester and enjoy

  • @texfan999 HAHAHAHAH, way to own yourself it takes more than just running down the ground twice to win an afl game. FKN LOL, seriously there is a reason why he only plays 6 minutes a game. NFL players, have to learn to carrel and tackle properly. Seriously, how many fail dives were there fark. The first person in the vid to attempt to tackle hester over-committed like a mofo. On a footy field uou have to bounce the ball and there is 18 guys you have to get pass not 7 who don't weight 120kg.

  • @nabilion you just cant admit theres nobody in the afl that can run like that and how could u not even be impressed cmon! and there aint 7 its 11 and there all just as fast if not faster than any afl player u are yet to impress me with these so called "athletes" and josh hunts athletic abilities dont even come close to nfl abilities so still yet to provide me with an afl player who is athletic as a nfl player so u may aswell give up and stop wasting your time fool

  • nfl is way better! players are bigger, faster and stronger

  • @texfan999 afl players-more agile, more skillful, just as fast, just as strong , greater cardio and healthier :D

  • @nabilion you must be joking there not even close especially in the strength area afl players cant lift fukall nfl players bench 225 pounds for like 20-50 reps and max between 400-600 pounds, No afl player could do that there all skinny as fuk and u cant say there more skillful its a different sport but nfl players are faster, stronger and better athletes

  • @texfan999 let me put it this way if Roscoe Parrish at 78 kilos can play in the NFL, pretty much any afl player can as well. Faster? some may be faster over 40m but not over 100, 200, 400, 800m. Put an aussie rules footballer on an nfl field he will be competitve. Put an nfl player on a aussie rules field he will tear a hamstring or be close to a cardio aresst if he pushes himself to the work-rate of afl players.

  • @nabilion lol you picked out pretty much the smallest guy in the whole of the nfl and still he probly stronger and faster than most afl players, you afl guys just need to admit nfl players are the far superior athlete like i said there bigger, faster, WAY stronger and far more powerful than any skinny little afl player, even rugby players are way better athletes so u skinny weak dudes need to get over yourselves and stop thinking afl players are great athletes coz there not there weak as piss

  • @texfan999 Roscoe isn't alone there is Jacob Lacey, Brandon Banks, Elbert Mack, Samari Rolle all light weights. But wow way to ignore the hypothetical situation. You keep saying faster but that is just anaerobic speed. AFL players have both anaerobic and aerobic speed. Name the best athlete in the NFL and i'm pretty the best in the AFL shoots him out of the water.

  • @nabilion nfl players are far more superior in every aspect of athletics just accept that fact i dunno how many times it has to be said there bigger, stronger, faster, have more power and just more athletic you need to accept the fact that afl guys are weak and small and apart from running they got nothing else going for them find a afl player who is as fast as Reggie bush and can match him for strength he runs the 100 in 10.4 he squats 550 and benches around 350 you wont find any

  • @texfan999 One thing you a fundamentally missing out on is endurance. With Vernon's weight has he has no chance of fulfilling the needs of an afl player aerobic wise. There is minimal difference in both player's speed but there is a massive difference in cardio strength. Rievoldt, has worked for 10 years combining strength work and trying to minimize the burning of muscles through the amount of running he does.

  • @nabilion vernon davis, he runs the 100 in 10.7 secs, he weighs 253 pounds bench's around 500 and squats around 700 have fun looking for a afl player that can even come close
