syncopation-wise good job. loosen up a little and don't pick your sticks up so much. more for less, utilize more down-up in your rebounding rather than lifting the sticks off the drum head. you will get a more consistent louder sound and feel that will be more comfortable.

Dude, I just got my drums today and have always loved Green Day's playing. You're really good! Are there any tips on how to make is sound like Tre Cool or Marky Ramone (they're the same style)? So for example, I just got the thing out of the box and all the stuff are tuned and screwed in the from out of the box - what do I adjust to make it sound like that? Especially the hi-hats? And do I have to put a pillow in the bass pedal to make it sound nice? :D
